Most amazing band and lady! She sounded just as lovely on stage as she does on her albums. This woman does not age. It was an amazing evening. I would love to go see her again!!

Sade is back better than ever !!

by redheart on 2011-09-09Rogers Arena (formerly General Motors Place) - Vancouver

Travelled from Calgary to Vancouver to this show as Sade rarely tours. But the wait was worth it. Out of all the shows that were out this year Sade elgantly put them all to shame. If you missed this show you missed a beautiful moment that I will carry with me. If you have the time go see her show. You will not regret it I know i never did:)

    Beauty Personified!

by Spiggy on 2011-09-09MGM Grand Hotel - Las Vegas

I have always dreamed of seeing Sade in concert, she is one of my favorite artists—and she did not disappoint. From the moment the lights went out, the entire arena exploded with excitement and anticipation. The place went wild, pools of red light hit the stage, smoke and wind could be seen and felt. Then…there she was; emerging from under the stage, slowly and assuredly. The moment her voice was heard, cheers and whistles overtook the lyrics. It wasn’t just a concert, she put on a show. Her voice is impeccable. Her songs are so classic and yet, felt fresh and new. Even the way she thanked us for being there, you could feel she truly appreciates her fans and gives them everything she has. She’s still as gorgeous as ever and has so much class. Her band is amazing and the encore was breathtaking. She is just simply amazing.

    Truly unforgettable.

Almost 48 hours later and I can still feel the energy and emotion that this amazing woman gave us that night. The sets, art direction, and her band were all incredible. A stunning, beautiful show from one of the most famously reclusive superstars (50 million records sold) in pop music history. We will gladly wait another decade to see her again.

    Classy, Artsy, AudioVisual Candy!!!

by Sadelicious on 2011-09-01Air Canada Centre - Toronto

.......waited ~10 years for this and we're so glad we finally got to watch Sade Live! Our thirst for live concerts have finally been quenched.....unless Sade decides to perform live again in T-O (please please and more often please!). Sade's music live was so crisp, clean, delicious & full of aural emotion that I realized the quality and detail of her cd recordings to date don't quite do her music justice. Wish they release SACD versions of their albums as I would buy each and every album they've put out, best ofs and all! But for now I'll settle for the upcoming DVD-A of this 2011 concert :-)

    Sade was simply magical

by Bunzi on 2011-08-20Rogers Arena (formerly General Motors Place) - Vancouver

From the moment that Sade walked out onto the display with the base pounding notes of Soldier of Love, we knew that we were in for quite a night. Sade did not disappoint, with not having been on tour in quite a while, she took to the stage like the ultimate performer that she is. Her band was superb and costume changes did not disappoint. Loved, loved, loved the show! So glad that we travelled to see her.

    Sade was amazing!

by Countrygal on 2011-08-18Rogers Arena (formerly General Motors Place) - Vancouver

I have been a huge fan of Sade since her first LP. Yep, I have several records of her before a CD even existed! I have been waiting 25 years to see her so it was a dream come true. I first saw her in Montreal on June 30th and the show was so great that we just had to see her again. That is when we purchased tickets to see her in Vancouver. So, being the fans that we are we live in Calgary and flew to Montreal and Vancouver to see her. Sade's show was not only pleasing to one's ear, but also it was visually mesmerizing. We expected her to come out and sing, but did not expect the amazing stage show that went on as well. A particular favorite part was when sheer curtains came down around the stage. You could still see the band through the curtains. Images were projected on the curtains and you could see the band and the images on the curtains and it was just a lovely visual effect. Another one was when she sang Jezebel and the camera focused on the hands of all the musicians as they were playing their instruments and it was in black and white. Of course each song performed sounded exactly like her recordings which is so nice. The best show and it was well worth the wait of over 25 years.
