Saw him at my college years ago it was one of the best concerts and I’ve been to many
This was the worst concert that i have ever been to. After waiting a couple of hours he got on stage and sang roughly 6 songs. Then he got off stage and everyone was waiting for him to come back on because the dj's were saying that he was going to. This makes sense because concerts should go longer then twenty minutes. However, he didn't come back on and when i asked a security guard if he was coming back they said no.
Worst concert ever!!!! The opening acts were absolutely horrible. I can understand having one or two openers but 5 opening acts is completely unnecessary and infuriated quite a few people. After each performer finished there was a DJ set until the next act came on. Obviously not paying attention the same songs were played by different DJ's. With doors opening at 7 Sean Kingston did not hit the stage until 10:45. So after waiting through sub par music for 3+ hours Mr.Kingston performed a set that lasted less than 45 minutes! Confusion as to whether he was coming back to do an encore was not helped as the main MC made it seem that he was done for the night while the security kept insisting that he was coming back. At this point most people left not caring. I am a metal head so it came as quite a surprise that most of the performers use backing tracks with vocals and only "karaoke" with the music for less than half the song. If 50+ year old singers such as Rob Halford, Ozzy Osbourne and others can sing complete songs doing hour and a half sets I don't know why 20 year old rappers cannot complete a whole song on their own. DISAPPOINTMENT REIGNS SUPREME.
This was probably one of the worst concerts i've ever been to. He seemed so un prepared, and just felt like i was standing in a crowded club listening to people try to sing into a mic. Do not recomend going to this concert. will be dissappointed
Sean kingston put on a very good concert, i wish he played a little longer but overall it was AMAZING and i would definitly go again.
I will never attend one of his concerts again.
The doors opened at 7:00 pm in Vancouver. The 2 opening acts played their 15 minutes each just after 8:00 pm.... then the wait. Sean Kingston did not appear on stage until 9:45 - I don't think he even arrived at the Vogue Theatre until 9:40. He played about 50 mins and it was quite evident that Sean Kingston thinks he's way better than he is. The crowd was a younger one - my 11 year old son stayed up by the stage for the entire time waiting for Sean - we even arrived 1 hour early to get a good seat. So... 6 pm to 9:45 is waaaay too long to wait for a mediocre performer but he's my son's favourite so I perservered. Good thing the tickets did not cost a lot...
Waited outside long past when doors were to open and it was not warm outside. Opening acts were good but I think too many of them..Concert started at roughly 9 and headliner did not even hit stage until 11:30......long time to wait. Once Kingston hit the stage however the show was worth the money but not sure was worth the wait.
I think that the concert was great and my favourite part was when sean kingston started singing and i think there was nothing bad with the concert. sean kingston YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sean Kingston has some natural talent when it comes to vocals and he writes his own songs but that's about it. Last night's show war overall terrible. First, his opening acts started late, then, he was about 45 minutes late himself. When he finally showed up (people were booing by this time), he offered no apololgies or explanations. He looked like he obviously didn't want to be there (too good for this kind of attitude) and he ran out of breath after the first 10 minutes of singing. Sean you need some practice time! You need to get in shape enough to be able to sing / perform for an hour! He couldn't sing, was off key for the most part; at points he just gave up singing all together while the (recorded) song was going on over him...what a disaster. I would just like to say that there were kids there who were dissapointed - and I was dissapointed myself.
