Sergei Tumas Tickets

I had a deep respect and admiration for the performers of this show. Here in North America we has lost sight of what real talent is without the help of computers, smoke and lights. The first half of the show was a challenge for me because it was jaded with a couple who rudely chatted through the whole session, however after speaking to them, they quieted and the second half of the show was delightful. Each of these performers was wonderfully talented and had worked hard to give us a really different and entertaining evening. Thanks to all of them for that.

I believe the venue was too large for this two day concert . I was very disappointed with the attendance being very low. The quality of the entertainment was fantastic. With the amount of advertising I saw for this concert, the people in Calgary should embrace this culture of dance and music from Argentina. This event was well choreographed and offered a variety of cultural themes throughout the performance . What more could one want from this musical of song and dance including the gauchos at the start after the intermission . A very fulfilling two hours of my Sunday afternoon . The people of Calgary really need to witness more variety of cultural events and to be willing to pay the price . I hope in the time ahead people will learn to appreciate unique performances like this one.

The music quality was very good. The Tango dance prerformance was good but could be even better. An introduction or a description on the Tango culture in Argentia should be good as this is a very unique dance and had a colorful history behind it.

This event was terrible - we left BEFORE intermission. Sub standard

Enjoyed the show but it was not worth the price of the ticket ($130). Very poor attendance at this performance. I was very disappointed.

It's a very interesting combination of traditions and innovations! Sergei is a great Tango choreographer, and got a group of very talented musicians. I've seen and heard some numbers before, and can't wait to get the whole show!

The music is simply great. And, seeing Sergei's choreography from "Dancing with the Stars", I can imagine what he's done in his own show with great dancers from Argentina!

I saw Sergei Tumas dance on stage while Julio Iglesias was singing and it was fantastic. I have also seen him dance on other occasions and it is truly the best Argentine Tango I have seen. His mastery of the dance was such a joy to watch and the passion and connection that was apparent between the dancers swept me away to a different place and a different time. I had never seen Argentine Tango danced like that before, so fluid, so romantic, so passionate!

I am so excited to see the Nuevo Tango Cabaret. Sergei's style of dance is authentic Argentine Tango; He focuses on the essence of tango and how the music makes you feel when dancing. Tango is a trilogy between man, woman, and the music and I am sure there will be a lot of passion on the stage. I have always been amazed at how much he knows about the history behind the music and his interpretation of how the music speaks to us and moves us on the dance floor. Can't wait for the show to happen.
