    Good fun for kids!

by momwentcrazy on 2014-01-29Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

I took my three-year-old daughter to see this. It was a lot of fun. The music was upbeat for her. We got I'll seats near the front so that she could get out and dance in the aisles if she wanted to. The characters did come into the audience from time to time so we have some great pictures of her hugging all her favorite characters from Sesame Street. The show was about an hour and a half long. The only thing I didn't care for was that they sold balloons during intermission. They did ask everyone to put them under their seats during the show, but of course I sat behind the one guy who was letting his fly right in our face. He wouldn't put it under his seat, so we ended up moving to a different seat. That's okay the show was still good, I just wish they would have waited until after the show.

Great show, AMAZING venue! I will definitely attend anything child-friendly at the Fox Theatre, Detroit (ie. Sesame, Dora, etc). Great show, every seat was incredible, engaging...simply fabulous...for children AND parents!

    A little disappointed

by FromNB on 2012-12-10Cumberland County Civic Center - Portland

We took our 26mth old daughter to this for her Christmas Present and got the Sunny Side Tickets so she could do the meet & greet with Elmo & Friends. Unfortunately we arrived late due to traffic and missed Elmo, but that was our fault. However the main reason to get the tickets we got was so she could dance along and not be out of arm reach. We've gone before to Elmo's Super Hero's in Bangor and there were lots of children dancing in front and in the isle, but we didn't let her because we were in the middle of the row. When this one started we were told no dancing and the kids had to stay in there seats at all times. I'm sure I'm not the only one this disappointed because there were lots of little ones being pulled back into there seats. I understand for safety reasons but someone could have arranged for some dancing time, these are all toddlers for the most part and they didn't understand. The show was great but I left disappointed :o( not sure if I would drive 6hrs again to see this production.
