    Great show

by Bman Toronto on 2022-07-05The Avalon Theatre At Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort - Niagara Falls

Loved this show. Sheena sounded great! She included most of her biggest hits for her fans, and mixed in some pop favourites for others who might have been there for a break from the casino. She was funny and engaging. Definitely a great 90 minutes!

    Pop Queen rules the KIngdom

Sheena looked fabulous and did not disappoint with the set she presented. The self deprecating jokes were a nod to her Glaswegian sense of humor. My son is a James Bond fan and ending the show on the Bond theme was a treat.

Been a fan of Sheena since I was 12, I’m 49 and can’t believe it took me this long to see her live in concert! Absolutely amazing! Sheena and her band were fantastic! Would not hesitate to see her again!

    Sheena still has the voice

by DavidMcK on 2013-03-01Casino Rama - Orillia

I saw Sheena at the Feb. 5th, 2011 concert at Casino Rama. The first and only other time I saw her was at her very first stop on her very first World Tour in 1982 in Hamiltion. I was extremely eager to see her again and the voice did not disappoint. I was thrilled to hear her perform In the Winter again. Beautiful song and emotion! It was too bad she had a bit of a cold and one of the people in close to the stage was a pain trying to charge the stage continuously. I have all of Ms. Easton's recordings and have always felt she had one of the best voices in music. If it were just for her music I would rate a 5. When I saw her originally in 1982 I purchased a special commemerative booklet that I attempted to have signed (but never saw her), so I brought that to have signed and many of the staff at the casino were very helpful in trying to get it signed. One fellow took it personally to her to have signed and she refused. That was VERY disappointing. Music fantastic, fan support lousy.

    Sheena still sounds amazing!

    by Socrdog3 on 2011-02-12Casino Rama - Orillia

Although she is now in her 50's, if you close your eyes and listen its still the Sheena Easton of the 80's. The band was right on for every song. Co-singer Philip Ingram has a great voice and the connection between him and Sheena made for an enjoyable night. My only disappointment was Sugar Walls and U Got The Look sung as a medly with some words/lines left out (censored for the Casino crowd maybe?). Sheena was a great show and I would see her again. That said, I cannot believe the crowd. The upper tier of seats was closed off and there were many empty seats. The crowd was mostly older and seemingly had free tickets from the Casino. Many of them were rude enough to walk out during the show even in the middle of songs. Even the people in the coveted front rows wouldn't sing along when prompted. I felt sorry for Sheena and the band. Also disappointed in the lack of merchandising. I would have loved a T-shirt.

    SHEENA LOOKS GREAT!

    by Heatstorm1 on 2011-02-08Casino Rama - Orillia

Since 1982, I've seen every concert Sheena has performed in Orillia (Tent days), Toronto, and Niagara Falls. She's my most favourite artist. She's always put on a great show and the audience is so thrilled with her, even to this day. I have to admit though, this past weekend in Orillia, I was just a tad bit disappointed. She came on late, which is expected, but she left early. Her performance was but an hour or a bit long. I've never been to her concert where it ended so early. Sheena looked great though, sounded wonderful, and I was so happy to be allowed to take photos of her while she performed. (No video allowed) It was nice to see her finally out of her white pantsuit and into something very sheek and elegant. Canada loves this woman and she should make more than just a one night appearance. She's also at the age where if she were to enter the audience to perform, she would not get jumped or attacked. This was a nice little touch she performed in Niagara a year or so back. I was a little shocked that the audience in Orillia this past weekend was so subdued. You could tell she tried to get it going, but it just didn't happen. If she could only perform some of her wild stuff from "Fabulous", that would be awesome. Can't wait to see her again.

    Brought back memories...

by Vernapelletier on 2011-02-07Casino Rama - Orillia

The show good, not as good as I expected, the downfall was the crowd itself, too many people there that had free tickets from gambling at the casino, they were not in the moment nor did they seem to like the music...so I wonder why attend. Miss Easton and her side kick (*can't remember his name - but I remember his voice, he was awsome) they did well together, he carried the duets to the next level, he was what made the show.
