This mash-up of 16th Century Shakespeare and 21st Century Broadway tells the story of brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom, two playwrights stuck in the shadow of that Renaissance rockstar Will Shakespeare. When a soothsayer foretells the next big thing in theatre, the Bottom Brothers set out to write the world's very first MUSICAL!     Great fun clever musical

    As a literary fan accompanied with my non-reader husband, we BOTH thoroughly enjoyed this show. Music and dancing are upbeat and dialogue is thoughtful and clever.

    We just loved the show. We loved all the inside references to other musicals. It was one of those shows where you started smiling as soon as the show started and didn't stop until well after the show was over. I highly recommend this to anyone else looking for great fun evening out.

    Smart and Hilarious

    A wonderfully, fantastic show, rich with double entendres, witty remarks and clever connections to Shakespearean works and the modern "MUSICAL" of the theatre today. Be prepared to laugh out loud and share your favorite lines long after the show ends. Extremely talented performers who presented wonderfully charming characters. A must see!

    Disappointing. Lame jokes. Forgettable music. And the only time ever in a NY theater where the crowd talked and TEXTED and Twittered all the way through. No staff came to tell them to turn off their devices

    In love with Something Rotten

    Second time at the show. Friend is going for a third time next week. Need I say more...
