    Wright Stuff

by Scruncher on 2018-01-22Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - Coquitlam

Steven Wright has amazing energy to be able to entertain an audience by talking for 1 hour and 40 minutes, non-stop. My face was so sore from laughing, an excellent sign. A must see for anyone looking for a fun night out.

    Still one of the best

by Conan24 on 2018-01-22Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - Coquitlam

His comedy is so clever and kept me laughing throughout the entire show. His delivery is intentionally slow but the comedy comes at you fast. Definitely one of my favourite comedians and well worth seeing if you get the chance.

Wright For What You Could Hear

by Eppy304 on 2017-10-08Bergen Performing Arts Center - Englewood

Steven is still funny-for what u could hear. He talks low volume and muffled. The headphones didn't work so only about 60% was heard by mostly everyone. Very frustrating!

    Steven Wright Vancouver Show

by BobVFD on 2016-01-17Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - Coquitlam

Second Time Seeing Steven Wright. Usual monotone delivery of his material, but the jokes are still funny. He just does his show; no commentary, etc.

Steven Wright - what can you say?

by CrispyB on 2016-01-13Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - Coquitlam

I have been a big fan of Steven Wright since the 80's, but I've never seen him live. And he did not disappoint. I brought my family – three young men who were not familiar with him - and we all had an excellent time. I was afraid that his style might not translate into their generation, but they were laughing out loud. He gets weirder and weirder as he gets older and to me that's a very good thing. The show went for a little longer than an hour but actually it was perfectly timed because, with his rapidfire delivery approach, you can get a bit saturated – and I mean that in a good way. Regarding the venue, even though I bought my seats quite late we actually had an excellent view of the stage and of him. Parking was a little chaotic at the casino, but once inside everything lowed smoothly, the seating was comfortable and the whole environment was very positive.

    Not disappointed!

WOW is the only word to describe Steven Wright's performance. He is a very funny man. From the time he walked on to the stage to the time he walked off, he had us laughing. He now has a bushy beard which makes him look scruffy but the things that come out of his mouth have never changed. He has updated some of his older routines, like the parrot, rifle and the refrigerator box, but the pretense is still hilarious. Thanks, Steven. Another wonderful sit down with you.
