At the beginning, we were instructed to "Close our eyes and imagine that..." It's not their fault that these four guys were 30 years older than the Beatles in their prime. The intimate BB King theatre made them look like geezers dressed up like the Fab Four. That being said, the impressions were excellent - down to the Liverpudlian accents, the subtle fingering of the guitars, arched eyebrows, and they sounded a lot like the Beatles, especially in the first half British Invasion era cover. The song selection was eclectic with some rarities, and not enough Lennon songs. The sound, seating and service was very good, but the buffet was disappointing. Not enough selection, and lukewarm. I would recommend it to a hard core Beatles afficianado, but otherwise, there are too many entertainment options in NYC to bother going to this one.
