Sweeney Todd show was wonderful I enjoyed it a lot

A fantastic, superb & professional performance! It was a pleasure to listen to the musical repertoire. A must-see!

Lovely experience to see Sweeney Todd in a new perspective. A little feedback goes to the venue and sound system. Seems like there was a noticeable hissing frequency that came in and out during the concert that interrupted our experience. Hope that can be solved. Sweeney Todd's microphone was a little muddy when he reached a higher pitch. The Venue should permit snacks to be eaten in the theatre. A lady who ate chips for 5 minutes really interrupted my experience of being in the concert as it felt like she was eating it directly in my ear.

We booked this play a few months before we were to visit Chicago. We were staying in downtown Chicago and were dismayed when we learned that this theatre was about 45 mintues from downtown in Oakbrook Terrace or a 50$ cabride each way. However, after deciding to bite the bullet as we were on holiday and chalked it up to the cost of the trip, (I should have checked the distance before I bought the ticket), it was well worth it. We got to the theatre an hour and half earlier in time for an excellent dinner in the theatre. For $19 all inclusive per person for a porterhouse steak dinner, with vegetables and potato, and a salad, it was well worth it. Sweeny Todd was very well produced, very professional, broadway level. The acting was excellent and the leads and supporting casts all had excellent voices. At times, the music was a tad too loud as it drowned out the voices and was hard to hear the actors so you missed what they said in their English accents. But that was a minor thing and I would recommend this play if you don't mind the drive or are staying out in the area.
