Tango Fire Tickets

All in all, this show was entertaining to watch. If I was to criticize it from a dancer's point of view, there were some things lacking. Not all the couples were of the same tango or dance level in general. One of them in particular was not even close, and compensated heavily with a messy acrobatic performance and a completely see-through costume. Also, it would've been nice to see more group performances integrating the historical evolution of the dance as the program claimed to be doing, as well as real, traditional tango dancing (too much acrobatics). If I was to criticize this show from a solely entertaining point of view however, for people who don't care so much about dance technique and a realistic portrayal of the tango culture, this show is perfect for them. They'll enjoy it and go home thoroughly satisfied! Two of the couples were far above the rest in their dancing and performance skills and made up for the lack of some of the others. So if I was to nitpick, the show could've been better, but, honestly, I enjoyed myself and was happy to see that the non-dancing friends who came with us enjoyed themselves too.

The dancing was fantastic. Too bad the show had to be moved to a much smaller venue as it was virtually impossible to see the dancers feet. The band that played the music for the dancers were very accomplished musicians.

Amazing dancers, outstanding live music. Go and see it if you can. This IS the real Argentine tango I've always wanted to see without traveling to Buenos Aires.

It was too short, just one part of the show and the premises was absolutely not suitable for this kind of the show. The premises was changes after the tickets were purchase, unfortunately.

This is the first time I had ever gone to a live tango show and I absolutely do not regret it!! The dancers are world-class and the costumes are beautiful. In general, it's very artfully done. You don't have to be an experienced dancer to appreciate that the show itself is wonderful!! The only regret is that they come to the GTA so infrequently ;) I honestly cannot say enough good things about this production. I would definitely not hesitate to recommend this show to anyone in the future!

I bought the tickets for one of my friend, for a special occasoin. After the show she wrote that the show was magical, wonderful and she was very impressed with the dancers and she left dreaming tango.

This was the third time I went to see a tango show. This group always brings high quality performance and spectacular tricks and lifts into the performance. The band makes up of very talented musicians, truly enjoyed this show. I wish the venue was the original as it seemed the stage was a bit too small. Also, since this was in the Molson Studio, the floor wasn't sloping so previous rows of seats blocked most of the view.

It was Amazing!!! Nobody would be able to convey all the heady aroma and passion of tango better than the Argentinians, native traditions!!! An unforgettable evening!

I have been to Buenos Aires and went there to a couple of tango performances. I thought I had seen all one can see as to musicians and dancers but this troupe is really close to the top one can expect for Argentinian Tango. I would recommend to bring this group as many times as possible. All Toronto should go and enjoy the Music, the Musicians, the Singer (really excellent) and the dancers!

Incredible, high energy show. I loved the dance numbers, but would have preferred less of the singing / musical numbers.
