As usual Andy Jones was great... and so was the rest of the cast.

Rating: 5 out of 5 Tartuffe
by FandJ on 2013-10-22National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - OttawaVery well done! One of the most enjoyable performances we have attended in a long time ( we attend theatre regularly). You would have to be from the Rock to get the innuendo of some of the expressions - they were "spot-on". Andy Jones gets better with age. We have seen several of his one-man plays and really enjoyed them (I even remember the old Codco days). All of the actors did a great job. Ourselves and our friends walked away thoroughly entertained. GOOD WORK! Favourite Moment (or most memorable) Not a major moment but when Valere was"arguing"with Mariane,on the wharf, about there relationship, his expressions/body language reminded me so much of Martin Short of SNL fame. I cracked up!

Rating: 4 out of 5 Not Perfect but Very Good
by 1ToughCritic on 2013-10-19National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - OttawaI saw Tartuffe for the first time about 40 years ago. It was wonderful. Priest was even more pious, which made it funnier, and he wore robes. Set was not as elaborate as this one, which tends to distract the audience somewhat. Maid was hilarious. Her lines, and delivery were spot on. so e of the other characters were quite weak.
