Excellent event, all 4 bands rocked but Metallica blew me away.
I went VIP and I will never go to an outdoor festival again without being VIP! It was the best concert I have ever been to. The bands were awesome and the venue was superb.
Vacation Via Vegas to See history in the making $4000 Tickets to the Big 4-$400 Souvenir T Shirts and standing in line missing half of Megadeth $105 3 trips back and forth to the car removing 1 "pro camera, 2-Large backpack, 3-food and water not approved by the event 2 HOURS Proud moment when father takes 11 year old son to see the forefathers of this great lifestyle called METAL \m/ *o*\m/........YOU GUESSED IT!!!!!! PRICELESS
On a day where a couple of Canadians stormed into Palm Springs to watch the big four a couple of things come to mind. The most amazing live experience ever and an absolute joy to watch the bands I was raised on all play at a high level.
I thought the venue was great, some of the bands had sound issues. Great metal!!!! GA near the stage was intense! Took forever to leave as everybody tried to leave at once.
The Big Four festival exceeded my expectations - we couldn't have asked for a better day. The festival grounds were great; the staff were well organized and efficient, the crowd was awesome, and the bands totally delivered. The only bad thing I have to say is that it was over too quickly! Thanks for the memories Big Four; best show I've ever attended!
This concert was unreal, what a venue.....I've waited forever to see Metallica live in concert and it was worth the wait. So glad that I could see them, Anthrax, Megadeth and Slayer in California, a place that some might consider to be the birthplace of Thrash Metal.
Concert itself was awesome! Line ups kinda sucked but I guess thats the price you pay for 50,000+ people. All in all for the money I spent for flying down from Canada for this I'd do it again in a heartbeat!
