    Really Good Show!

by smartgrl on 2013-12-12Air Canada Centre - Toronto

The show was great! Much better than last year! The acts they had did an amazing job!! Each act brought a lot of enthusiasm to the stage! They performed a few songs each and tried to keep the show going.

    Amazing talent Incredible stage!

by Sablemay on 2013-12-10Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Kudos to the Lighting Team! BEST DAY!! The stage lighting was over the top with the colourful snowflakes and the forever changing videos to compliment the artists and their songs, Amazing value to see such great talent live in one day was over the top! The stage hands where so professional with the set up and removal of the bands, not to mention the MCs who had the audience totally engaged in their conversations and games. Thank you to H& M for the cute Santa hats! I will certainly be attending next year, Thank you, Thank you , Thank you MUCH MUSIC, for helping youth get off the streets.

    MUCH's The Big Jingle Review

by TheCakeGirl on 2013-12-10Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Overall, it was a nice afternoon. The atmosphere was very representative of the holidays and the theme was apparent. There were quite a few performers on the bill and although this can be a good thing in terms of pleasing a wider audience, the value of each performer was kind of undermined by time constraints. The crowd was a lot younger so the concert had to start quite a bit earlier than usual however if a certain band or singer is promised, the crowd might expect more than 3 songs from said band, especially when someone may have bought a ticket simply because their favourite band was going to be there. As someone who goes to almost all of the concerts that roll into town, I can vouch for the fact that it was a nice time but maybe a few less performers and more time allotted to each one would make it seem more substantial and not as rushed.

Fall Out Boy was the only reason to see this

by ZandraW on 2013-12-10Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Before even starting the show Much had already pissed off all the patrons of the event, announcing that they wanted people in the stands to file down to open floor seats for a "upgrade" basically giving away peoples seats. when the person finally arrives to their seat the person given the upgrade was Yanked by security and asked to move back to their spot basically pissing everyone off. I go to concerts on a fairly regular basis I have never seen something so extremely idiotic in my life, i spent a good sum of money on my floor seats and i know how excited each person coming down from the nosebleeds felt only to have their spot ripped away and the person walking into a arena and realizing someone is in their seat worst ever! I havent even started on how amazingly horrid the opening acts were, Down with Webster- at least got the crowd going.... even if they have no shred of talent Mia Martina- probably one of the worst artists ive seen live, so bad she should quit now. only highlight of her show was her surprise guest and it was only because I was sick of listening to her sing so another voice was a cure for the numbing sensation my ears were forced to sit through. Fefe dobson- Go back to singing Bye Bye boyfriend Ylvis- so bad but so good, I could not look away and I actually really enjoyed the performance Hedley- please stop now, your pop act just keeps getting worse with age. Serena Ryder- you can sing but your songs suck, also horrid stage presence I found myself watching your piano player rather than you. Icona Pop- not the worst thing about this show. Fall Out Boy- PERFECT IN EVERY SINGLE WAY, this band never disappoints when I am lucky enough to see them live i always have the best time. Patrick has the most amazing voice in the world, my only criticism was that their performance was not long enough, Much should have axed a few others to make more time for the pros. as a whole the announcers VJs were boring and basically had to egg the crowd to look like they had more fun than they did. I would not attend another Big Jingle unless Fall Out Boy perform, then I will put up with screaming 13 year olds and badly played opening acts.
