About

The Doobie Brothers have produced some of classic rock’s most memorable hits. From the polished yacht rock sound of “What a Fool Believes” — a No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 and ranked by Rolling Stone Australia as one of the greatest songs ever — to the feel-good harmonies of “Listen to the Music,” The Doobie Brothers’ more than five-decade run has made them one of the preeminent live bands to see. Since their debut album in 1971, The Doobie Brothers have won two Grammy Awards, landed eight albums in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200, been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and sold nearly 50 million albums worldwide. The band has showcased their 14 gold-album repertoire on a globetrotting 50th anniversary tour that began in 2021 with the reunited lineup of Pat Simmons, Tom Johnston, Michael McDonald and John McFee playing together for the first time in nearly 25 years.

    Worst concert ever

by mark on 2023-11-09Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

This was the worst concert I have ever been to, from the parking to the concert itself. The music was terrible, too much bass did not hear the guys voices. We left after an hour and went home. It sounded way better on the ride home. I have been a fan for 50 years and this was terrible!!

    A Night To Remember

    by BigFan72 on 2023-11-07Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

The Doobie Brothers 50th anniversary was something special! The boys still got it. When they hit those harmonies the world disappeared. To top it all off I was able to get my Best Of The Doobies Brothers LP signed by John McFee and Pat Simmons and I got a Pat Simmons 50th anniversary guitar pick! Was a great way to celebrate with them. Thanks for coming to town guys! Entry was smooth and hassle free. Paperless tickets, just a quick scan at the door and I was in. Thanks Ticket Master.

Absolutely magical from beginning to end

by Taking it to the streets on 2023-11-05Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

We had the best time at the Doobie Brothers concert. From the purchasing of the tickets to the last second buying of a t-shirt it was wonderful. Great venue, great seats, up off the floor so we could see everything. Loved the smaller more intimate venue in Abbotsford compared to Vancouver.

    Fun night

Great concert, but paying for parking was a fiasco and needs to be improved.

    Worst concert ever !

by Terry on 2023-11-02Canada Life Centre - Winnipeg

Sat in section 124, could not hear vocals at all until the last 15 minutes of the concert. The music was so jumbled and an ear piercing tone. 6 People ,2 rows up left. Then 4 left in the row in front of us. I was going to leave also , but my husband hoped it would get better, it did, the last 15 minutes! Felt like I was back in the old Winnipeg Arena ! So disappointed . This area is usually very good.

    A nostalgic event.

by shirleyinpc on 2023-11-02Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

Excellent in every way. Doobie Brothers singing their hits & few surprise cover songs. They look & sound great. Memories of times past & celebration of accomplishments of 50 years in music biz. Congrats to Doobies & Thanks to Ticketmaster for fun concert experience. Looking forward to next one.

Great concert - Doobie Brothers still rock!

by GK on 2023-11-02Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

We were very impressed with the performance of the Doobie Brothers. They haven't lost a beat! Still the same great sound, and very tight! The vocals were excellent (still able to hit all the right notes). Tom Johnston and Michael McDonald were fantastic on vocals and the instrumentation was spot on. The entire concert was even more than we expected. Well done, guys! One suggestion: when performing in Abbotsford, don't call us Vancouver :)

    Too much sax............no Tom Johnston

    by JohnnyC3 on 2023-11-02Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

The lead singer and guitarist for the band was not there! Despite being the lead person on your promotional pictures, and having a billing on stage with the other 3 key members, Tom Johnston has not been on this leg of the tour since May! Kind of like seeing Van Halen without Eddie...................not the real thing! Sure the other members scrambled to cover vocals, and missing solos, but it was not the real thing! Oh it's where Tom plays a solo........................covered by a sax! WTF?? The other members were good, but I'm looking at the background stage videos while listening to vocals performed by the bass player. Really cheesy.........................and not even a mention.............shameful! Disappointing..................

    Fantastic show!!

by We Westy on 2023-11-01Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

I had waited many years to see the Doobs. They did not let me down at all. They are getting up there in age, and yet they still played 2hrs 20minutes without a break, Unbelievable!! Well worth the price of admission. They sounded fantastic, & very clear!
