    Hated it!

    by AH1974 on 2010-12-07Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

    Didn't rock like I thought it would. Old fang good song (The one we all know), but when I googled them, must've been black angel who rocked mo than black mountain. I only got there on time for Black mountain, so maybe if I got there earlier, would've liked it better Black Mountain try to sound 60's and 70's psychedelic, but don't succeed the way Pink Floyd do! Funny how Old Fabng has a cars Bye bye love sound to it!

    Black Angels awesome!

    by carrie6969 on 2010-12-03Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

    Only show I have been to where the opener is best part of the show. The Black Angels blew me away, can't wait to see them again in the future. Hopefully they will be able to play longer next time, although their show for 1 1/2 H was pretty sweet! Would reccomend them to anyone and everyone! I'm an even bigger fan now, thanks guys :)

    I'm Ruined.

    by CaptainAwesome on 2010-12-03Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

    This concert was absolutely incredible. My future concert going experiences will forever be ruined as they will not, nay, CAN not, match up to the amazing Black Mountain and The Black Angels.

    Blown Away!!!

    by jasonsalmond on 2010-12-03Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

    Words can't describe what happened to my mind body and soul at the Wednesday show. I have been a Black Mountain fan for a few years but The Black Angels are new to me. Both bands live are a must see. I was in a trance the whole time and mesmerized by the lights and music!!! Both these bands know what they want and know what they are doing. To put into one word.....PERFECT I am a fan for lie of both these bands!

    In 20 years...

    by mikw on 2010-12-02Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

    We'll be looking back and recall a show that included both of these bands in a small venue and it will be a testimony to the good old days. These are the seminal classic rock bands of the future, playing in their prime today. I've seen Black Mountain a few times now and they never fail to impress. The Black Angels were so good I was forced to buy all three of their LPs. See this tour!

    I was surprised by the opening band, I really liked them.. the lead singer has a Jim Morrison vocal style and the drummer was kick ass. I loved the black mountain band not much I can say other then they are great live and really enjoyed the show, the only distraction is the lead singer really should find something to do when not signing as she kind of just stands there not very comfortable looking which kind of distracts from the guys when they are doing their thing...

    Hallowe'en = Black Angels

    by HugoCole on 2010-11-03The Phoenix Concert Theatre - Toronto

    Having already seen Black Angels Hallowe'en night a few years ago, I was psyched to see them AND Black Mountain the same night cause I've been way into the new Black Mountain album. And The Black Angels exceeded expectations, putting on a truly fiendish show. Black Mountain was kind of a disappointment in comparison - plagued by bad sound, equipment issues, questionable set list and song order. The new Black Mountain is all about the harmonies, but the sound was too muddy to get them. Black Mountain sounds way better on record, but Black Angels are way better live.

    Great show from both acts. 'Tyrants' blew the house down.
