    What a really big shew!

by oneofthecrackers on 2010-09-19Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

I travelled over 2,000 km to see this concert and it was well worth the time and effort. Having the concert at the Jubilee Auditorium in Calgary was a real treat and a beautiful venue both acoustically and aesthetically. I was impressed by Bruce's professionalism in dealing with the band, the choir, the Imperials and the staff at the Jubilee. I was inspired by his generosity in giving over $5,000.00 to help the homeless in Calgary from ticket sales....truely an Elvis type thing to do! Bruce's stage presence, vocal abilities and showmanship have never been better! He has come into his own style as a seasoned veteran performer. He is not just another Elvis impersonator but is man with his own flare and twist on things. It was wonderful to watch the Imperials perform with Bruce and encourage him on as well. They even requested to not have to wait another 35 years before being invited to return for a repeat performance.

    Amazing show for all ages!!

by AudAnita on 2010-09-18Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Rev. Elvis was great as were the Imperials and we were so pleased that "True to his word", Rev. Elvis (Bruce Sheasby), showed us once again how he supports so many local artists. As we left at the end of the show, it was heartwarming to hear so many positive comments from others!

    Amazing.

by Dreamboat on 2010-09-13Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

My wife & I enjoyed the show very much being similar age as Elvis Presley, the original. On a negative note, advise patrons to remove their Cowboy hats and enforce no cameras.

It was great! Would have liked to have had the Imperials sing more of their own songs, but we enjoyed the concert!

    Elvis Gospel Tribute - disappointing

by NoRevElvisfan on 2010-09-12Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

I was very disappointed with the show. It was billed as starring Elvis' Imperials and although they were there, they were not given the starring role. On your website, it was not stated that local groups and the Rev. Elvis were going to be in attendance. In addition to which, the Rev. Elvis seemed to think he was the star and he ruined the show. He sang off pitch, made the Imprerials and the band sound off, forgot the words, and he tried too darn hard to pretend he was Elvis - and he ain't! If he was going to be given the starring role, his name should had been displayed as such. As for Elvis' Imperials, when they had a chance to sing on their own, they were fantastic. Should they ever come back, I would love to see them but leave the rest of the people off the program.

    Outstanding

by TripleD on 2010-09-12Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

We cried and laughed. The was the best entertainment for a whole evening. Would go again and invite more of my friends Rev Elvis was amazing and the Elvis Imperials I am so glad I saw and heard them. The opening act Marty Antonini & 7th Heaven were good. The fininshing act with all including Dwain Sands & the Goodluck Charms and Al Muirhead Horn Combo was the best ending. A standing ovation for sure!!!

An awesome show. The only thing is that I wish the Imperials had performed a bit longer with their own music.

    The Elvis Gospel Tribute

by gamme on 2010-09-12Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

It was great to go to a concert where there was not 50 plus musicians pounding away and also refreshing to not have needless strobe lights, elaborate costumes etc. and a clutter of stage decorating. You could actually hear the great voices, enjoy and focus on the performers of the concert.

    Unforgettable Spiritual Performance!!!

by Carem on 2010-09-12Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Sometimes we tend to forget what incredible talent Calgary has in their own back yard. Thanks to Pastor Bruce we all had a chance to enjoy the Elvis Imperials backed up by several people from Calgary.
