We were waiting for really famous glory players. Instead, we saw a very very all players that were not famous, just one or two and also it was a game that just was for 40 minutes, not 45 like a normal soccer game. I think that was not really a good spectacle. I think, next time, I will have to think twice before to go to see any other show like this, From 1 to 10, to this show, we give just 4 points. (My family and friend)
Most of the players are in their 40's and 50's. There was one player who was 61! While there were flashes of brilliance (bicycle kick!) most of the play was sloppy as too many of these guys have been off the pitch for way too long. While I have respect for the players for what they have done in the past the tickets should have been have the price of what they were charging.

I understand that a legends game will never be the same as even a TFC game.The guys are not fit or not as fit and some of the players have not touched the ball in years.What i don't understand is the fact they made a legends game with only id say 5 legends all together.On benficas side there was Chalana and Nuno gomes and on Milans side there was Vieri and Nesta and Maldini coaching .Sure i get not all players can make it it but the way it was advertised there were supposed to be at least 12 stars (legends) all together.There was no Rui costa, Mantorras,or Gattusso ,Di Canio , shevchenko ,inzaghi etc .I paid almost $80 each ticket and it was not worth it .Oh and the lady announcing the names and teams was horrible.She must of made 5 mistakes in total , joke.
The game was very one sided since the players for Benfica were much older then the AC Milan players. VIP eeats were overpriced got magazine, ugly cheap t shirt and a cheap scarf. But no one told you about this so I saw many who did not even realize they had these for the vip section. Jumbotron on VIP section is behind you so you constantly have to turn around to see the screen when play on far side. North seating not worth the premium price they charged for tickets.
First mistake was not reading the marketed "Legends". Didn't think the players would be that old and overweight. It was good to see some of the old greats play but it seemed there were many that I didn't recognize.
On the positive side we were treated to some neat touches and plays Albeight not to many and mostly from the Milano side. Tickets were a little expensive for the product on the field and it would have been nice to have a program so that we could identify the players. Apart from a couple of players on either team the rest were unidentifiable. Would not go to another "old timers game" again.
what was billed as a "legends" game featured about 3 or 4 recognizable names out of both teams combined. poor announcing considering that the teams are Italian and Portuguese and fans cringed every time the Anglo-Saxon announcer declared "Eusebio" and made it sound like "youzubio". none of the real legends actually showed up and for $50 a ticker for lower bowl this was a serious disappointment and waste of a Wednesday night.
Ticketmaster and BMO mentioned players coming that never showed up or played. Disappointment for my whole family to spend over $400 to watch players like Rui Costa, Gattuso and Maldini only to have none of them show up! Would not recommend any special soccer matches between international clubs due to the lack of players that are promised in advertising but never show.
The game play was terrible. Old timers soccer is not enjoyable to watch at all.
