Absolutely incredible students! They blew my mind! So worth it to see them work so hard for this awesome show. All the leads were perfect for their characters. I would definitly go again! Very proud of my friends!

    Rocky was a little rocky?

by Bubbah on 2011-07-30Bathurst Street Theatre - Toronto

Show 20 minutes late starting due to inability of theatre to process sales and/or handle pre-paid ticket pick up. So beit! Seating was intimate and adequate but not comfortable theatre seating. Sat in thinly padded pews... the facility, of course, is an old church. Sound was good. Set was mediocre to "none" with the exception of the screens used to show silhoutted sexual activity. That was effective and probably presented right to the limit considering we are reviewing students in a school environment. Audience was interactive and showed great support of the cast's efforts. Chorus numbers were strong Individual leads were good but on the weaker side vocally. Nothing about this show was extremely outstanding... although a great evening of entertainment for $20. That being said, was disappointed generally as I was looking to see what the Randolph Academy was nurturing in the way of up and coming talent. I hope the students of this particular graduation class have other education pursuits in order to seek employment security and continue to pursue their artistic talents at a community level. This will bring life-lasting rewardis. Keep up the good work and continue to be passionate with your endeavours.

A fantastic performance! Go see it TONIGHT! With very few props but lots of action and fantastic pipes on the whole crew it was an outstanding performance of a well-loved musical

    Well Worth It!

by Makabeje on 2011-07-29Bathurst Street Theatre - Toronto

This was a fun evening. We thoroughly enjoyed the performance. The talent of the cast was beyond my expectations. I might not have brought my 13 year old daughter with me to the show had a known how "sexy" the show would be, but she enjoyed herself overall as well.
