About

The Rolling Stones are one of the most influential and longest-lasting bands to cross over during the ’60s British Invasion. The group stands as one of the best-selling acts of all time with 200 million records sold worldwide, and is responsible for two of the highest-grossing tours of all time within the last two decades. Blending blues and rock, the first main lineup of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Brian Jones, Bill Wyman and Charlie Watts broke out in 1965 with their first chart-topping album Out of Our Heads and back-to-back Hot 100 No. 1 singles “(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction” and “Get Off of My Cloud.” The group topped the Hot 100 again with 1966’s “Paint It, Black,” 1967’s “Ruby Tuesday” and 1969’s “Honky Tonk Women.” With the addition of guitarist Mick Taylor, The Rolling Stones released their second No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with 1971’s Sticky Fingers, kicking off a streak of eight consecutive chart-topping debuts through 1981’s Tattoo You. Ronnie Wood made his debut as Taylor’s full-time replacement with 1978’s Some Girls, which hosted the group’s Hot 100 No. 1 “Miss You.” The Rolling Stones were the recipients of The Recording Academy’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 1987, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989. They collected their first of three career Grammy Awards in 1995. The group broke the record for highest-grossing tour in 1990 and reclaimed the top spot in 1995 and 2007, becoming the only band to headline the highest-grossing tour of the decade twice. The No Filter World Tour from 2017 to 2021 closed as the fifth highest-earning tour ever. Most recently, the band released their first album of original material in 18 years, 2023’s Hackney Diamonds.

    Expensive

    by Jaclyn on 2023-12-01

Wow so I was 3200 in the queue, get in there and seats snapping up fast. Barely any left and were $490 and up. I’ll stick with my memory of them from 1994

    Jokes…

    by I’m w/ Absolutely Not on 2023-11-30

…and the greed goes on. The only way to minimize inflated heads and egos and bring back truly enjoyable concert experiences is for the fans to reject the insane prices everyone with a hit song feels they’re entitled to charge… and yes, that goes for the legends, too.

    Mexico is better

    by Absolutely Not on 2023-11-29

With the money they’re asking to see an 80-year-old sing I’d rather be in Mexico for a week!!!

Loved it. Prices were expensive and parking was a bit of a disaster but definitely a great highlight

    Awesome!

by ALF on 2021-11-18Ford Field - Detroit

To finally be at a Live Event with this Pandemic was Awesome! And why not attend the greatest Rock and Toll Show ever The Rolling Stones. People told me to get a refund. I didn’t want a refund. I wanted to go to the concert! Even with the hurdles of the pandemic, the border closure, the vaccines, the PCR Testing, the traffic, the souvenir random at home Covid Test from Customs, I wouldn’t change a thing. It was so worth it and was an amazing experience. ❤️

    Rolling Stones No Filter Detroit

by DK on 2021-11-18Ford Field - Detroit

First time at Ford Field. I didn’t know that I wouldn’t not be able to bring in my purse or that it had to be a clear bag. The show itself was spectacular! I’ve seen the Stones 4x now and this was their best performance.

Couldn't make it to the concerts because of various reasons.. Tried to sell my ticket online, but nobody bought it... Heard the Vegas show was great, though!

    Could not attend

by Brian on 2021-11-02U.S. Bank Stadium - Minneapolis

My wife and two teenage boys were looking forward to seeing these rock legends but due to the boarder being closed to land travel from Winnipeg we were not able to make it to the concert. I had seen the Stones 3 times in the past, each time an unforgettable experience. Missing the concert was a huge disappointment, not to mention loosing all that money with the ticket costs.

    Humbled

by Walrus on 2021-10-28U.S. Bank Stadium - Minneapolis

I witnessed a seasoned band In the sunset of their run ( who have all the fame and accolades) care enough about their craft as not to “mail it in”. Sure they’re getting on in years but so am I. Their consistent effort won me over and by the end I was enraptured by the spectacle and the quality of this performance. Well done Rolling Stones!
