THE STAMPEDERS IN CONCERT:

The Stampeders first stormed the Canadian rock scene in 1964 and they haven't slowed down ever since. Whether they're strumming a double-neck electric on "Sweet City Woman" or charging through fan-favorite "Ramona", the trio still possesses the same rock ‘n' roll chops they did 50 years ago. As one of Canada's most legendary groups, the Stampeders give ticket buyers one exhilarating performance after another on their exciting tours.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Originally known as the five-piece group the Rebounds, the Stampeders formed in 1965 and became a trio comprised of Rich Dodson, Ronnie King, and Kim Berly. The band rose to fame with their No. 1 smash "Sweet City Woman" from their Gold-certified 1971 debut Against the Grain. Since then the Juno Award-winning outfit has had eleven Top 20 singles, three certified gold records, and toured extensively throughout their native Canada. With their impressive catalog and signature style, the Stampeders have wowed fans for years with their must-see live shows.

Harmonies were excellent. Guitar playing and drums absolutely fantastic. They played every one of their many, many hits throughout the years and we sang along to each one. Nostalgia.....amazing!

We loved every minute of the concert. Brought back so many memories of the seventies.. I spent hours in the tractor on the farm growing up as a young man 13,14,15 years old. Listening to the Stampers. Sweet city Woman is a legendary Song! Hope they come back to Winnipeg many more times

    A Good Stampeding 50 yrs

by Laine on 2023-04-25Burton Cummings Theatre - Winnipeg

The 50th anniversary Stampeders concert was great. The venue at the Burton Cummings Theater was a beautiful theater, the performance was spot on, and they played a few songs longer than the concert was supposed to run for. Couldn't have asked for a better night.

    Awesome performance

by Hiker Brad on 2023-04-24Burton Cummings Theatre - Winnipeg

Sound was perfect. Not too loud & great acoustics. Microphones were all working 100% The Stampeders played all their hits. Kim Berly was awesome on drums & vocals. He had unlimited energy & seemed to totally enjoy plaining. The other two were also pretty good but did have to sit a fair bit.

Great seats in the 1st balcony. Super show. What they lacked in mobility, they more than made up for it in showmanship and humor! They still got it!

    Stampeders

    by R. G. on 2023-04-24Burton Cummings Theatre - Winnipeg

Was an excellent show, very entertaining and the boys even made light of their aging. The music was both at a perfect volume and they covered most of their hits. Was a little disappointed they didn't use the banjo for Sweet City Woman, but they came cloe using the guitar. Would definitly see them again! Well done!
