    The Stills rocked!!!

by Anonymous on 2010-07-30The Horseshoe Tavern - Toronto

This was an unforgettable concert and a rare opportunity to see The Stills in such a small venue. The concert started a bit later than expected, but it was certainly worth the wait. The Stills played all of their best songs (which is almost every song they have anyway) and the crowd loved it. I've been waiting to see them in a solo concert here in Toronto for a couple of years and I am so glad that I finally got the opportunity. They are a fantastic band and sound great live, so if you have a chance to see them, do so, you won't be disappointed. It is also nice to see Greg back on the guitar as the band once again is complete.

    DAVE!!!

by MARmar3773 on 2010-07-30The Horseshoe Tavern - Toronto

The Stills are awesome! Saw them 2x this week -- opening for KOL and at the Tavern. Both nights were amazing! So happy that Dave is back on drums! He's much more expressive there and Greg is fantastic on the guitar. LOVE LOVE LOVE them!

    The Stills dissapoint again

by adhameli on 2010-07-30The Horseshoe Tavern - Toronto

Unfortunately, after seeing the Stills numerous times, I regret to admit this band is just not good live. Molly Rankin opened up with a catchy set, her clearly new band hit all the marks and were well practiced. After waiting over 3 hours to see the Stills, they disappointed with an off-beat set that was fairly sloppy. The biggest disappointment of the night was an untuned guitar causing the band to stop about 30 seconds into the song and start all over. Mistakes happen, but never have I witnessed such an amateur mistake in the dozens of concerts I've seen in my life. I was under the impression that in such a small venue, they would be perform their best for such an intimate group of their biggest fans, but that was not the case. The highlight of their set was their hit song "Being Here" which got lots of energy from the crowd. Overall, I'm sad to say that while being one of my favorite studio artists, the Stills just don't cut it live.

Great band at a great venue

by Andy on 2009-07-13The Pyramid - Winnipeg

The Pyramid's sound mix might be questionable but The Stills had more than enough energy to overcome it. A perfect set-list that recognized some of their less obvious classics (Of Montreal, Lola Stars and Stripes) while bringing just enough of their new material (Snakecharming the Masses, Panic, Everything I Build). The band had both the enthusiasm of a band on their first tour and the swagger of a band on their tenth. A great show worth more than 20 bucks it cost.

    Addicted to The Stills!

    by PBTE1 on 2009-07-10ROKBAR - HAMILTON

The show was great! I always feel like the guys give 110% in every performance. Love the new song, "Rid of me." Check out the opening band, Hollerado, they were a lot of fun.

    The Stills Rocked!!!

by DJElectroknight on 2009-07-10ROKBAR - HAMILTON

The Stills created alot of positive energy with the crowd and played each song with precision and passion. The venue (Rokbar) was fantastic and the atmosphere really matched the music.

The Stills put on an excellent show!

    by Lea17 on 2009-07-10ROKBAR - HAMILTON

I have to say I was impressed by how great The Stills sounded live and kept the attention of the audience throughout the show and came back for an encore after the fans chanted for more. The stage was very small for such a large band but they still moved around the stage and made light of the situation with jokes and comments on how small the stage was. Great band Great show.
