We attended the finale performance and we're pleasantly surprised by how good this one-woman show really was. The story in itself was rather sad with some touching recollections and some funny comments. Seana McKenna was excellent, clearly showing her Shakespearian experience with voice and expression. I'd say this was the second best one-person show I've seen (number one going to Blood on the Moon with Pierre Brault). Excellent show in an intimate theatre. Worth it.

by PHONEY on 2011-01-27National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - OttawaSeana's performance was incredibly moving. It was as if she lived through the two losses herself. When her voice wavered during the performance, it gave me permission to released my own tears of sorrow.
