    sooo good

by lil_amsterdam on 2022-06-12The Centre in Vancouver - Vancouver

I haven’t seen Tori Amos in concert since the late 90s so this was a BIG deal for me, and she did not disappoint! She played for over two hours nonstop. I’m not a huge fan of her latest album and I found the last half hour kind of melded into one long Tori Amos song, but overall it was excellent. And the acoustics were perfect, not deafening like so many concerts these days. It was loud but not piercing. Beautiful venue at The Centre. Loved her opening band, Companion - I will definitely check them out. So glad I went.

    Versatile, Intense, Engaging

by Bruce on 2022-06-11The Centre in Vancouver - Vancouver

Tori Amos gives way beyond value for money. A non-stop emersion into eclectic musicality that blends jazz, pop and the driving beat of electronica. Add the sensitivity folk in her lyrics and you have an experience that is hard to beat. It's not just her. The bassist and the percussionist accompanying her are superb. The lighting perfect. We were impressed.

    Beautiful Experience but HOT

by Amykins on 2022-06-11The Centre in Vancouver - Vancouver

Tori was wonderful, and her music was represented beautifully in this acoustically perfect space. The venue is very stuffy and warm, though (especially in the balcony). Wear light clothing and get a bottle of water to keep cool(er). Otherwise I was so happy to see Tori perform in a good theatre space!

    The best experience!

    by Luciana on 2022-06-11

I saw Tori in Vancouver 2022. She has this great stage performance which you can see it comes from her soul. She kindly invites us into her world, where one can simply get carried away in her thoughts while listening to this amazing piano. Is it pop? Is it rock? You can’t really label it, when you hear it you can easily identify it’s Tori! I cried, I laughed, I jumped and sat comfortably with my thoughts, all of this in the same night. And there was an awesome opening duo that was simply lovely!

Tori’s gift of channeling these sonic landscapes is simply breathtaking. It’s like she operates between worlds and takes you there through the live experience.

Amazing with a side of flat sound by the venue

    by Digit_El on 2022-05-25Meridian Hall - Toronto

Seriously amazing concert in Toronto. Tory is on top of her game and then some. The mood. The emotion. The laughter. The meditative moments. The seriousness. The LIFE!!! What else does anyone need? Rejuvenation through music & words = we got it. & oh how lucky we were. +Loud, passionate fans! +Great combo of old & new playlist! + lovely opening act ( alas didnt catch a name of this gorgeous Canadian singer-songwriter) A bit of constructive ( I hope ) criticism for organizers / Meridian Hall in TO. Not that it in any way spoiled concert itself. More of a "like to have": _ sound was quite flat, maybe it was our balcony seating, but I have attended multiple concerts pre-covid in this venue ( balcony seating included) & sound was filling you up & I am not talking about volume. Especially with Tori's music, it was quite sad. My partner noticed it too. & we are not musicians. _ why not open up 2 places with merch ? Lines were so long & moved so slow that we didnt dare to even try ( although do appreciate the fact that merch stand was opened after the concert) _ for Meridian Hall specifically : what happened to upstairs concessions? & please stop your security walking in front of rows constantly during the songs. But to finish on a positive ( on top of phenomenal music), light show was incredible! Please say thank you to your light engineer! What a talent! Humbly yours, El.

    Awesome performer.

by John on 2022-05-24Meridian Hall - Toronto

This was a show to soak in and enjoy. That voice, those keyboard skills, the power of the songs, the presence of a great spirit on the stage. Incredible and wonderfully heartening in these times. A singular great moment in a hard year.
