The game itself was terrible. Quarterback had a bad day- not sure why the coaching staff kept him in! The atmosphere and fans were great, best in Toronto compared to Leafs and Blue Jays. As for BMO, the grilled cheese was good but chips served with it were terrible- totally stale. Not expected for the price you pay!
The expected did not happen. Disappointed in the teams effort especially the Quarterback Kelly and the coach for not replacing him, when there was still a chance to win. Giving Kelly to regroup and refocus. Poor tackling on two long runs for touchdowns.
Exciting game in an excellent arena. Only complaint would be the long lines to the washroom at half-time
Until there are more men’s washrooms I will not be back to BMO. Missing almost a full quarter - ridiculous
This was a fun time but unfortunately the Argos lost😢
I went to 4 Argos games this year and had a great time at all of them. Loud, engaged fans and a good product on the field.
The game was a disappointment but you can't win them all. Biggest issue with the day was the lack of organization as it relates to parking. We missed the first quarter trying to find parking, it took us close to 40 mins to find parking.
Access to the building was awkward, security was very rude, many places didn’t have adequate bathrooms. Just an overall subpar experience.
This was my first Argos game since they moved to BMO Field. So seven+ years. Went to a few dozen at SkyDome, and was a season ticket holder for a few years at the old Exhibition Stadium. So it’s been awhile. Getting to the game was a bugger. Transit wasn’t a option that day, so we drove. Traffic around the Ex grounds was awful. Luckily we arrived 2.5 hours ahead of kick-off and were able to find a spot. Everything from there was was good- other than the score and a few points below. The atmosphere inside the stadium was electric. The Argos did a good job on with the in- game presentation, whipping up the crowd. The crowd in our section and in the concourse was fun and not out of control drunk ( like most Buffalo Bills games I’ve been to). Definitely kid and family- friendly. Food at BMO was a big disappointment. Two beers and two chicken fingers and fries set us back $68. Almost the price of a ticket. But I’ve come to expect this kind of gouging from MLSE. The food options were slim and the chicken and fries were cold. That part of it was unacceptable. It was a far cry from the food options and quality at Scotia bank arena and Roger centre. There were no TVs that I saw in the concourse, carrying the game action. That should be a no-brainer…. fix it MLSE. S big disappointments and mystery was the lack of replays on the big screen in the stadium. We can get a replay if things went they are goes way, but not if they muffed the play like an interception or a sack against the Argos. WTF? In this era of multi camera TV coverage and seeing replays from five different angles, it’s ludicrous that MLSE won’t show all replays on the big screen. An easy fix. Complaints aside, overall it was a good experience and I’m glad I went. Will definitely try to get down to a couple of games in 2024.
