  • Elvis the EPiC perfomer Rocks the TIFF

by Lucio on 2025-09-17Scotiabank Theatre Cinema 12 - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I was impressed by the welcoming staff and superb video/audio of the IMAX at the Scotiabank theater on Richmond as I watched my first film here, EPiC. A little more leg room would have been nice but beyond that it was a great experience. As far as the movie was concerned, Baz Luhrman's EPiC aptly demonstrated the Elvis Presley magic via new footage and upgraded sound. Using Elvis' own comments to narrate the presentation gave us the impression that he actively worked with Baz even though he passed away in 1977. Hope many more can see the magic of EPiC complement Baz's original Elvis Austin Butler film of 2022. Ain't nothing like the real thing baby!

  • Fun, Amazing Experience!

by Jayson Walters on 2025-09-17Visa Screening Room at Princess of Wales Theatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Had a wonderful experience at TIFF this year. Was able to get tickets for two films this year with reserved seating. Even though the line-ups were long, at both Princess of Wales and Scotiabank Theatre, the volunteers got us ticket-holders into the venues quickly. The first film I saw was Driver's Ed which was adventurous and hilarious. The second film I saw was Degrassi: Whatever It Takes documentary which was informative, nostalgic, funny, and at times serious. The Q & A's were well organized. It was fun and I'm glad the audience was able to participate and ask questions.

  • Awesome experience

by Larry on 2025-09-16Scotiabank Theatre Cinema 13 - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The movie was good. The staff were very friendly and informative. Movie started on time and ended on time. Only drawback - no talent was present

  • TIFF knows got to rock it

by Jen on 2025-09-16Roy Thomson Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This was our first experience with TIFF and we were blown away. We had no idea that the director and others (such as Dan Levy and Sarah McLachlan) would show up. Wow. Even having the very back row seats at Roy Thomson had a good view and was amazing.

  • Amazing experience

by Jessie on 2025-09-16TIFF Lightbox Cinema 2 - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first time doing TIFF festival. I only went to 2 movies, but loved the ambiance and the movies! I would check Ticketmaster the morning of, and decide what movie I would go see. Will likely participate next year as well!

  • Great films

by Anna on 2025-09-16Scotiabank Theatre Cinema 7 - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Tiff this year had so many films that looked interesting. We watched Love + War and it was very captivating and interesting to learn of a photojournalist’s thrilling and dangerous career. My only feedback is the seating situation in the last 15 min. Most people arrive for a movie within that time, so your seat that you booked and reserved should not be given out at that point, it’s so silly! Maybe if there are empties after that people can move up to fill in the seats, but what is the point of reserving seats if they get taken?

  • I went for two movies and I enjoyed the festival village.

by TIFF is Toronto 's remarkable event on 2025-09-15Scotiabank Theatre Cinema 12 - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

As every year before, this year Tiff's village make people gifted with coffee and chocolate. I love it ! Also the beer tasting was available, but this is not my favourite drink and I would like to have a hot coffee. And a lot of music playing, laughing making, photos taking - Great! See you next year.

  • Loved the movies I saw

by Andy on 2025-09-15Scotiabank Theatre Cinema 1 - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

I was disappointed buying the tickets online. I actually bought a membership this year and was not very successful at purchasing tickets the first day I was allowed to and I didn’t realize that there would be NO gala tickets available. I had to logon the second day and finally quickly took what I could get (frustrating). I saw 2 movies and for one of them enjoyed the question period after I was also disappointed that I couldn’t talk to anyone on the phone while my frustration grew
