About

Troye Sivan is a pop singer-songwriter and actor from Australia. As a teenager, Sivan first gained popularity on YouTube and Australian singing competitions like StarSearch. In 2013, he signed his first record deal with EMI Australia and released his first major-label EPs TRXYE (2014) and Wild (2015) ahead of his 2015 debut album Blue Neighbourhood , featuring the hit single “Youth.” Sivan’s sophomore album, Bloom, arrived in 2018 and peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 with support from singles like “Bloom,” “Dance to This” featuring Ariana Grande and “My My My!” That same year, he appeared in the gay conversion therapy drama Boy Erased, contributed to the soundtrack of the big-screen gay teen romance Love, Simon and collaborated with Charli XCX on “1999.” After dropping the pandemic-era EP In a Dream in 2020, Sivan unveiled his third studio album, Something to Give Each Other, in 2023, which included viral singles “Rush,” which earned Sivan his two first career Grammy nominations, and “One of Your Girls.” In 2024, he will co-headline Charli XCX & Troye Sivan Present: Sweat Tour.

Troye Sivan gave us the queer dance party we need!

by Jos11B on 2018-10-22Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

Troye Sivan and the artists on his tour created a night that was unforgettable for it's energy, community and overall fun. Each of the three artists were amazing in their own respect and the way it was set up built up both energy and overall pop dance party goodness. The only thing that soured my night was overly stuffy security that seemed to overreach in their application of rules. As someone who works both security and theatre management myself, I found the fact that they couldn't give me a good reason for their enforcement of certain rules suspect. But the music and party created by the three artists was so strong and enjoyable that this issue did not impact my enjoyment of the concert. It was a truly amazing night.

literally the best night of my life Troye sounds amazing live and really knows how to create a beautiful dynamic w/ the crowd - it felt so inclusive and close and just generally light-hearted and fun. He interacts with the crowd so often, it feels like watching a close friend perform. Everyone in the crows is so proud and happy to be there, and just having the times of their lives. I wish he could've performed longer I could've watched him for hours tbh

BLOOM Tour felt like home <3

by halsey17 on 2018-10-18Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

I could just be the most bias person in the world cause I absolutely adore Troye but his concerts have always been my favourite. Besides putting on an amazing and obviously well-rehearsed set, he really made the fans feel at home with his little talks in between songs and audience interaction. He pulled a fan on stage, graciously received gifts from others and kept a beaming smile all throughout. Troye is absolutely incredible and honestly, going to one of his shows feels like you're watching your best friend. The whole experience flew by way too quickly. It was one of the best nights of my life thus far and I can't wait till the next time.

    Troye was amazing!!!

by MaddyG on 2018-10-18Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

I came into the show thinking it would be good because I haven’t been to a concert in a small venue before so I don’t know how it would go. Then when Troye came on and started singing and with the great lighting to go with his performance it was unbelievable. Also when Kim Petras open, she really hyped everyone up which was good because everyone was just sitting or standing there.

Troye is absolutely amazing live; he was my mate’s first concert and she said she loved every minute; he was not my first but it was definitely one of the most memorable
