Turisas Tickets

Battle! Metal! Battle! Metal! This metal band with folk metal "inspiration" is one of the best!

I went specifically to see Firewind! Phantom - good warm up band choice, wish they were playing more, instead of Stolen Babies (SB). SB's style is so irrelevant to the rest of the bands for this concert. I barely survived them, even if I can say for myself that I listen to a very wide variety of music! Waste of time. Turisas exceeded my expectations performing live. Even a bit repetitive, their music is very catchy even if you never listened to them before, and they are so entertaining, and interacting with the crowd, nice costumes and make up. I would be happy to see them again in the future. Firewind... amazing, professional, high speed of pure metal, no matter the short set list, they set the world on fire! True metal fans must see them!

It was my second time seeing Turisas. First was when they opened for Cradle of Filth. This time, they headlined. I really like their sound. Its almost like Folk Metal with the crooning of Oldschool Jazz. Their Older stuff, more Folk Power Metal. Both really enjoyable and fun to scream along too. I've had bad experiences with Finnish Bands in the past like Nightwish and HIM, but Turisas are actually great. I will be seeing them again whenever they come back.

I saw them the last time they were in Montreal, I never heard of them before, and seriously I was amazed! Now I love them so much! I am waiting for the next show! The ambiance was amazing, costumes, lights, sounds, presentation! Everything was good! Defintely don't miss it :D
