Unbelievable evening. Ran so late that it tied the record for latest night finish at Arthur Ashe!

    US OPEN 2014!

by karahsim on 2014-09-02Arthur Ashe Stadium - Flushing

Getting to the stadium was no problem, but getting through was hectic and annoying. The line ups weren't too bad but I had downloaded a pdf version of my ticket onto my iphone that scanners refused to accept. Apparently a QR code is the only part they will scan, not the bar code so I had to get onto the slow wifi and re-download the file. No matter how I logged in through app or browser, no QR code ever showed up. I had to go back to the entrance to the ticket office box and get them to print it out. It was painless and easy, but still very very annoying. Once inside though, the stadium was nice, big and bright and the seats were great. Food was way overpriced for low quality though. The matches were longer than anticipated but really great to watch. I will definitely try and see another tournament one day.

    Arthur Ashe

by Josephine1 on 2014-08-31Arthur Ashe Stadium - Flushing

US Open 2014- Arthur Ashe Stadium was great, well organized for most part, although they say the best ticket for first week is general admission, if you obtain Arthur Ashe, either day or evening, ticket than you won't be disappointed in that you will definitely see some of the top 10 players play, as well Arthur Ashe stadium was cool and breezy for the hot weather. You cannot always guarantee that the large screen outside by the fountain will always show Arthur Ashe matches

Awesome Day... Great tennis, great venue, great atmosphere....what could be better!!!! Centre court seats really give you a sense of the pace of the ball....fast doesn't even describe it.

    Great experience

by Melondo on 2011-09-07Arthur Ashe Stadium - Flushing

First time at the US Open and I found it was a great experience. Even with last row tickets we have a good view on the court. But you can also go on smaller court and be very close from your favorite players.

    Great Day at US Open

by CharlieG on 2011-09-06Billie Jean King National Tennis Center - Flushing

Had an amazing day. Got Gen Admission tickets and stayed at Lewis Armstong for most of it. Very very busy though and once you are in you dare not leave and you have to join the back of the line to re-enter and that was a mile long. Next time I would buy a reserved seat at Armstrong. Great grounds too. Obviously a rip off for food/drink but that is to be expected at events isn't it.

    US Open experience

by Cee2 on 2011-09-06Billie Jean King National Tennis Center - Flushing

The Tennis was GREAT! However, food ran out many times in Louis Armstrong - I waited over 1 hour just for a hot dog! And the staff I guess was frustrated so they forgot their customer service - including the 'manager'. When you are in the Stadium all day - you get hungry! and you cannot leave to get food outside cause you probably won't get back inside - it was really bad to be hungry and waiting in line so long for one hot dog Hope to be back next year 0 and bring my own food!
