Vic Chesnutt Tickets

After devouring every one of Vic's recordings, I was still unprepared for the depth and richness of this performance. The man delivered, the band in oval formation around him - sensitive, energetic, and full-throttle. From the first moment, Vic sang like it was his last chance to perform. The audience was disappointingly small but enthusiastic - one fan we met outside afterwards "needed to talk" [about the greatness of the experience]. Like other fans, I am confounded by the "best kept secret" nature of Vic's music.
