Great seeing the pyro. Great seeing in-ring promos. Match quality is so-so compared to pay-per-views and non-televised events. But with that said, TV tapings are more worth the money than non-televised events.
Mom's first time but our seven year old had been with Dad to a previous Smackdown event. Difference was clearly that Smackdown was taped for TV. The RAW event was good but not as hyped with fire works and 'pomp" Great seats and we were pumped to see John Cena! Would recommend to pump it up a bit more. Re: Venu....when wrestlers were on the floor ...could not see anything security did an awesome job of keeping floor seat dwellers seated!!
My kids were losing their sleep with excitement to go and see WWE and their favorite superstars fight live. I went out of my way to buy them expensive tickets. But they came back dissappointed. Now, they would rather watch it on TV. It's more exciting and colourful. They were dissapointed that the cheaper seats had a better view than the expensive ones we bought. No commentary during fights. No colourful show, no fireworks on the fighters' entries. I felt they just did it in Canada, for the heck of it. No professional had any interest in it. Just a money game. Although myself and my kids still do love WWE. But, we would rather watch it on TV. It's more exciting comparatively. Watching live was a disasterous experience. Waste of money and time.
Had a great time. We all enjoyed the show.. Can't wait for the next one.
It was amazing for me to go and get such great seats and I might shell out to get to the very front next time, this I was in the 7th row. There was a bit of a disturbance behind me and since people kept sort of pushing what was allowed and what wasn't that did cause me some issue too, but the show itself and the great security really made it, it was like going to a local wrestling show but with stars from the WWE, I hope next time they add a meet and greet. The wrestlers really put a lot of extra cheese on their performances and the matches that I didn't hear about in advance like the Tag Team and US Title defenses were some of the best of the night, Mason Ryan's double suplex and Riley's hijinx and Santino vs. Swagger silliness really lightened things up, I also enjoyed that Punk went out of his way to get close to everyone he could.
3rd Wrestling event with my family of four.... Ricoh Coliseum was the BEST EXPERIENCE we've had....! The view was better. What made this event great for us, was the event security staff that was stationed by the ring... They had lots of patients with the young fans, security gave the kids a fair chance to reach out and express themselves as true fans...! 10x's more Photo opportunity. Parking was really close to the venue. The only problem i still have is the expensive t-shirt stands and not enough kids selection.. They will make more money if stocked more kids sizes...
The seats were amazing! The look on the faces of my two daughters is permanently etched in my mind! My 10 year old proclaimed she wouldn't wash her hands because she had received some high fives from various wrestlers.
I would definitely recommend seeing this event if you never went too one. You really need to see Monday night Raw live event at the A.C.C there is more hype and the fireworks are excellent .
It ran for about 3 hrs. Matches were solid. With a non-televised event, the wrestlers were allowed to be more off the cuff. CM Punk gave a speech on his border crossing problems that showed a more human side you don't usually see in the "larger than life" characters wrestlers usually are. The action was pretty good, but there was no amazing spots. The crowd was pretty hyped for the matches. John Cena got the most reaction, as expected.
