Laith was fantastic. However we had no idea he wouldn't get on stage until 10:40pm. There was no indication in the ticketmaster info. We were not the only fans left waiting and wondering and would have planned our evening differently. So I was exhausted but completely enjoyed his set anyway. I became a blues fan as a teenager in San Francisco in the 60s and saw many of the old masters. Laith is incredibly talented and I look forward to listening to him for many years as his music matures and becomes even better I am sure
if its in the same place next year I will not be going. to small and the one kind of beer to have was not good.
Really nice concert with talented musicians during a much teastfull festival.
Watched Creedence. Good show. Food was good and would go again.
Great Music indoor and out door in general. Too bad that their was no BBQ pit ready to eat from. the only one that was availble on friday was very average in tasting and quantity.
The venue was good and the sound was good. CCR played all the songs you expected and wanted to hear. We saw them 20 yeas ago in Shakapee Mn at the casino, They were good then but this time they were good and also polished. Enjoyed them a lot.
As usual the Winnipeg BBQ and Blues Festival was totally awesome. Credence Clearwater Revisted and Laith AlSaddi were great headliners and it was a real treat to be apart of it all. Can't wait for the 6th Annual Event next year.
Another great time at the BBQ and Blues Festival. What a great venue Shaw Park is, far superior to the previous year. Music was amazing, but perhaps, as great as Robert Cray was, he might have been a better fit for the Saturday evening with Colin James kicking butt on the Sunday. I am also wondering why there fewer food trucks in attendance this year, and why not all of the regular ball park vendors were not open...such as Danny's Whole Hog. We are already looking forward to next year.....
Shaw Park was a great venue, very convenient, good seating. More variation in the food offered would have been nice, particularly dying the day.
