Casa Loma was fabulous, the tea not so much
by Tealover26 on 2014-02-20Casa Loma - TorontoCasa loma is a fabulous place, the history is so interesting, the displays in each room are really excellent. The horse stables and the garage are really good, the view after climbing to the top of the house is incredible.. There is even a movie of Sir Henry Pellatt. There are so many rooms and so much to see- well worth a visit. But the tea itself was a disappointment, only 2 teas to choose from a chocolate black tea and an herbal tea. We thought there should have been more of a variety. What about some more traditional tea ? a Darjeeling, Earl Grey, English Breakfast ? And the food was good, but far too many sweets and not enough sandwiches or food of substance.
