    Was meh

by Tegrha on 2019-07-26Budweiser Stage - Toronto

Sound wasn't as great as the other years that I have went to his tours. Security really needs to step it up and make people get out of the walking isles. All I had beside me was a guy in the isle blocking it, dancing, spilling beer, and trying to touch any girl that tried to walk past him. Other than this time it's been great. This is about my 7th time going to Budweiser stage.

    Twice isn't enough!

by KingBAm3li3 on 2014-07-31Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - Toronto

This show was the second Wiz Khalifa show I bought tickets for, the first one being his 2012 july 29th visit with Mac Miller. I just turned 18 when I went to the first show and considered it a great moment, with great souvenirs. I was just thinking about this when it came to my mind that I could go see him when he would come back to Toronto (which I am not from, I took an 18 hours drive to see him) because my first experience had been so good. I checked on ticketmaster on july 24th 2014, which was only 5 days from the show. I quickly arranged the trip with my best friend and off we went! When I got there I just couldn't believe I was back, exactly 2 years later, to see one of my favourite rap artists! I only had lawn tickets, but when I got there they offered me to upgrade it to seated places, closer to the stage. No need to say this upgrade was highly appreciated! The headliners were not bad, but since the weather was cloudy with on and off showers the crowd seemed not to be as interactive as it could be. When Young Jeezy got on the stage, I must admit I had no idea who the guy was. I supposed I might have heard some of his music without knowing it was him but I later found out that I didn't know any of the songs he did, but I loved the style! The songs had rythms to shake to and catchy lyrics which made an impression on me, I am looking forward to buying some of his music! And then, the moment I was waiting for came and Wiz was presented and jumped onto the stage performing some of his best : ''Hopes and Dreams'',''Roll Up'', ''The Race'', ''Black and Yellow'' (which ended in a black and yellow confettis shower on the crowd), ''Taylor Gang'' (which was accessorised with pyrotechnics exploding to the beat), ''young Wild and Free'' (the crowd went mad and Wiz gave a hell of a speechabout self acceptance and following our dreams) and some of his new songs from the album ''Blacc Hollywood''. He also performed some of the tunes that were on the mixtape ''28 grams'', put his big ''Trap Wiz glasses'' on, and gave a hell of a show especially when performing ''Like Jimmy'' and of course ''WE DEM BOYZ'' holla, holla holla hollaaaaaa! The moment that made this show the best of my life? Out of nowhere, by the middle of Wiz's performance, came Canadian rapper Drake to perform ''Trophies'' and ''Started From The Bottom''. The morning of the show, Wiz posted a photo on his facebook page where he was with Drake and I thought it would be so awesome if he were there, but when I got to the show (it took 9 hours to get there) I had completely forgot about it. When Drake got on the stage, and the crowd recognized him we all went mad! My knees almost failed me and I cried my eyes out of excitment and surprise! This is the kind of unexpected moment that make you the happiest person on Earth! This show wasn't only just a show, it was a party, and we all were invited to join! Wiz even came to the back of the crowd on a platform, and all of the people who were in the back got around him, getting to see him and sing along to his songs from a shorter distance. Wiz was more than amazing, the lights effects were impressing, the music was all good and there was a smell of happiness floating everywhere with us! The only thing I could come up with that I found kind of weird is that the show ended a bit baldly, yet it was still the greatest I ever saw and I can't wait for Wiz's next stop to Toronto, so I can buy great ticks and party with him!

    Teenagers loved the concert

    by 01Fan on 2012-12-06Stampede Corral - Calgary

My teenage daughter and her friend attended the concert, they really enjoyed it. Their only complaint was all the pot smoking that was going on in the venue.

    Great first concert!

by CoolD on 2012-11-10Rogers Arena - Vancouver

Since I am a huge fan of Wiz Khalifa, and this was my first concert, I thought it was awesome. I was a little surprised that he barely performed any of his new music though considering he has a new album coming out. I was also a little surprised that some of the old songs Wiz performed weren't very well known, but that was fine with me as I happened to have listened to all those songs before (being such a big fan) and I enjoyed them. Some fair weather fans probably won't know these songs though. I am usually not a huge fan of Chevy Woods or Juicy J, but to my surprise they were actually very lively and overall very solid openers! I also really liked how Juicy J was very interactive with the crowd by taking people on stage and doing laps around the stadium while rapping. In the end the 2050 Tour didn't have to do much to impress me, so that might make my rating a little biased, but overall I had a blast, and so will most Wiz fans! TGOD
