Yann Tiersen Tickets

disappointed with your performance in Montreal. I was expecting something more melodic, and not some transgalactic voices... Noises, to be clear.... the album is only 40 minutes, and you stretched it to 1.5 hours this way... I don't even talking about time.. the show was supposed to start at 9pm, but you only showed up at 10pm...

Ok, je ne m'attendais pas à avoir un concert de piano, mais j'ai l'impression qu'il est passé à côté de son live. Ce n'était vraiment pas agréable, les show de lumières étaient trop intenses, et malheureusement les différents sons proposés par l'artiste étaient très génant à écouter avec un tel volume. Je suis parti avant la fin du show, comme de très nombreux autres spectateurs.

So much fun, it was a really unique experience. The opener had a great voice and Tiersen played wonderfully. Even with the music being electronic which seems untraditional for Tiersens style his voice was still prevalent through out he whole show. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes electronic music, experimental music or are interested in seeing an intense wonderful performance.

Song of Amelie turned into a savage electronic music. Not a fan Also, Yann made us wait until 10 just because? That was super unprofessional

please dont go, dont lose your money that way! if you wanna keep the good image of Yann on you heart, this concert is not for you, that was sad, noisy and poorly made, almost and I could say,abusive with all his fans, that almost leave the half of the crowd at the half of the concert, I feel robed.

so, if the idea is to make people's ears bleed he got that in this concert, and basically if you wanna brake the idea of the great musician Yann Tiersen playing his masterpieces then you are welcome to go and lose your money in such a bad concert with a master of instruments but a Dj begginer having a bad, awfull day.

More 1 hour of delay without explanations or information updates and then no excuses from Yann … it is just no respect !!!

I had purchased these tickets a year ago for Yann Tiersen being part of Mtl Jazz Festival. With covid and all, the show was canceled and rescheduled, which I fully understood and was happy to wait to get to see him live. The show being at 9pm, he got only on stage at 10pm… we don’t know what happened but it’s okay… The show was.. very different from what I could’ve imagined. I saw he released a new album in 2022 that was electronic music, but wow.. My mom who’s older had to block her ears in order to stay a bit because it was so high pitch that it was painful for her.. we left during the 3rd song.. We went in thinking we would enjoy some nice piano music and it was not it at all. Some people were there for it, and seemed to really enjoy the light and music show, which I’m happy for. It was just not for me nor what I had purchased a year ago.

Expectation: Yann Tiersen's music similar to his early works for Amelie Poulain or Good bye Lenin. Reality: psicodelic electro music (no piano, by the way)! You could see that the audience was completelly puzzled, half of the room left after 6 musics. Disappointed on how Ticket Master sold this concert: they deceived the public! They put a video clip of Yann Tiersen music (piano music with some electronic touches however still close to Yann Tiersen original style), not at all close to the psicodelic electro music played.

It sounded like Ross' electric piano show in the friends series, a musical horror. I have never seen a concert with so many people leaving. The sound in the hall was disastrous. My ears hurt. A real disaster, I would never come back in this room and see this artist. Yann tiersen must return to his bases.
