Concert was way too short and they need better song choices.

YTF was absolutely amazing. Everyone sounded better live than they do in their videos. High energy, hilarious, and ridiculously talented, these guys played an unforgettable show.

    Better than YouTube!

by YummyVictor on 2012-10-07The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

The guys were much better live than on video. The concert started late...it was supposed to start at 8. The opening act (Timothy) did a couple of songs at around 830 but then we had to wait another 15 min for ytf to begin :s. Timothy was funny and charismatic. Each dude did 3 songs each and Ryan did his comedic thing in between each set. Chester was truly a powerful singer and the ladies loved him...but he seemed like he knew he was hot stuff and came off arrogant. This especially was apparent during he signing after the concert. He was engaged in a conversation with Ryan and didn't even bother looking at the fans or awknowledge their presence when he was signing - the dude who kept the line moving kept yelling his name bc he wasn't focused at the task at hand. I was most excited to see him but his personality was a true disappointment. Talent was mind blowing but ego was unattractive. All of the other boys seemed really down to earth & humble during the signing. Especially Victor, JR, Dtrix, Andrew & Timothy. Show wise the standouts were Dtrix & JR - both exceeded expectations! JR is an amazing singer and Dtrix knows how to keep the crowd entertained! After the concert my new eye-candy favorite is Victor - what a cutie! Plus he can sing & dance! He didn't show off too much of his dancing and his set-list was a little bit forgettable but he was looking good during and after the show in signing. The shy smile & demeanor - so attractive! Will watch them again if they return :)

The YTF concert was SO GOOD!! Many amazing performances (about 3 per YTF member; which meant a total of 18 or so). I sat in one of the first 10 rows and I was able to enjoy everything with a good view. They had a pre-show which involved 3 local dance crews to have a competition and based on the audiences reaction, they would judge the winners; and I will say, that the last group literally blew away my expectations. They were just young teems and they did moves that I've never seen a professional dancer actually do in a routine! Bravo for them and they really deserved to win. The only 2 things that were disappointing for me was that Kevjumba was not there (they announced it in the beginning of the show but didn't say why) and the VIP signing after the show. I personally think that it wasn't organized the way it could've been and there wasn't enough time per person to talk to each of the group members. It is understandable that there were a lot of people waiting but at the same time, all you were able to pretty much do was hand your poster down and they would sign it for you; I was lucky that I was really near the front of the line and I was able to talk to all of them and get a picture of Ryan Higa. (though the security members told me as I was trying to get one of Victor King that it wasn't allowed because of the line.. but fortunately they didn't make me delete them or anything like that). Overall, I don't think the VIP pass was completely worth all the extra money, but hey, I was still able to meet them and get n autographed poster so it was okay! It would've been perfect if I was just able to get a quick picture with 1 of the members but that's okay I guess!

YTF was awesome, but a bit disappointing

by Anonymous on 2012-03-25The Centre In Vancouver For Performing Arts - Vancouver

The concert overall was great, but what made it disappointed was that KevJumba couldn't go. They said he would be going to the rest of the tour, but what good is that?
