ZIRIGUIDUM Tickets

Ziriguidum is a high energy cultural experience. The DJD dancers performed a intriguing, Brazilian influenced jazz dance based on the extremes of fire and ice. The guest performance was also high energy and demonstrated a capturing art form that is a combination of comedy, culture, tap, jazz, and Brazilian music. This show is truly an experience that is not easily captured in words. I encourage everyone to experience the joy and intrigue of Ziriguidum.

Zirigudum Show was like salty and sweet and it really went down well with the finest wine of real live in the moment music of the soul. I loved the juxtaposition of the earthy Brasilian Troupe with the refined DJD dancers. Every show by the DJD Professional Jazz Troupe is at such a high level of choreography and skill. Having live musicians and the freedom for improvisation has expanded the possibilities within each dancer to become more than any dictated series of movements. The roots of Jazz connect this art form to the core essence of what it means to be human. I have attended the fall and spring shows in Theatre Grand for four years now and the variety of themes, the spectacular use of props and the creativity is overwhelming and inspiring.
