A night out at the music hall
National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - Ottawa
First piece they played was awful. Why do you persist in playing garbage at the beginning of presentations ? Angela was wonderful. The third piece was OK. Last part was beautiful

Intellectual performance by Angela Hewitt
National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - Ottawa
Bach is my husband's favourite composer, so, when I saw tickets available (back in December) I loved the idea of going to this concert in a month of his birthday. It was an absolutely great concert. We both enjoyed every part of it. I loved that Angela was talking to the public, (very beautiful and articulate introductions), and everything she had to say was valuable to me - I love it when a musician speaks to the audience before playing. It adds so much to the experience! During intermission I read more on each musical piece, beautifully written by Angela Hewitt. Musician's mind is ''heard'' in a music she(he) plays, especially a pianist, where the phraseology is king. Thank you for the great evening, and thank you for this opportunity to leave a comment.

Wonderful music; great artist; amazing playing. The whole program was enjoyable from start to finish. It was quite interesting to be present for a recording session - it was there, but not obtrusive; you sometimes forgot that they were recording it.

Evening with Mozart and Sibelius
National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - Ottawa
This concert was the best of the best! having it recorded added to the excitement in the air and the emotiveness of the musicians. The conductor was a thrill to watch in the interpretation of both composers' artistry. The music was enchanting and brought me to tears several times. Angela Hewitt is a favorite pianist - this is the third live perfomance I have been privileged to attend. Her playing was enchanting, exhilarating and unforgetable as was her very evident passion for Mozart's genius. Beautiful!
