The Anchors Up Tour did not disappoint! Three great Atlantic performances. We were laughing, singing, and dancing in our seats. Beautiful harmonies. Several goosebump moments. We can’t wait to see them again!

Wonderful Evening of Vocal Harmony and Musicianship
National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - Ottawa
A real treat to have 3 in 1 for this concert. Loved all their pieces and really enjoyed everyone's stage presence. The acoustic strings and perfect vocal harmonies really made the night special. Thanks Fortunate Ones, the Once, and Old Man Luedecke

Adorable group!

The Once is an adorable group with immense talent. Although we were sitting in a theater filled with a few hundred people, these three musicians have the ability to make you feel like you are sitting in someone's living room around a fireplace listening to them playing their music and telling you lovely stories. I love that! I just wish it could have gone on even longer than it did. I hope the NAC brings them back again soon. Thank you for a lovely evening.

The Once were great!

These three have amazing harmonies. Wonderful show. And they are all great story tellers. Opening act Sara McDougall is also another wonderful singer /song writer.

the tickets were for my parents and they were very disappointed with the opening act. They felt that she was very political and didn't particularly enjoy her style of musical ability The Once of course were AMAZING 5 stars for them! I would recommend a better opening act for a group of their talent and calibre.

The Once played incredibly well!

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely evening out on Friday, March 14, 2015, at the NAC (Theatre), listening to The Once. A three-man band from my hometown of St. John's, Newfoundland, Geraldine Hollett, Andrew Dale and Phil Churchill put on such an amazing show, it had us tapping our toes from the moment they appeared on stage. Their harmonies are haunting. Their rhythm is sublime. We loved every moment. Particular highlights include The Town Where You Lived and By the Glow of the Kerosene Light. While I'd heard of the band here and there, I'd never had much of an opportunity to go to see them and when this tour came around, I made sure we had tickets. I'm glad that we did. We had a spectacular evening and so did everyone in the seats around us, by all accounts. Job well done folks! I'll be picking up the latest album (Departures) for my enjoyment. This isn't the last time I'll see them either; I'll make a point of it next time they're in town!

The Once was fantastic
Festival Place - Sherwood Park
The three musicians who comprise The Once sound like four or five. Andrew Dale allows his chords to hum as he picks an accompaniment while Geraldine Hewlett provides vocals that reach out and grab the heart strings. The backstory behind her song, "Charlie's" gives a great song magic. And then, the sing along gave us a sense of the community shared by Newfoundlanders. One of the best concerts I've ever attended.
