Having now seen this group for a second time I'm looking forward to a third!!!.. Great stage presence and interaction with the audience. The opening act (Birds of Bellwood) are definitely worth taking another look at !!
ben has a unique sound - burlesque folk comes to mind - and his viking appearance, complete with a stunning beard and man bun, ensures you will never forget who he is. his deep voice rumbles in the most pleasant of ways and his songs are unforgettable. lyrics range from dark to showtune, and everything in between. his booming voice in one moment demands your attention and in the next moment, you're straining to catch his whispers. every second is a surprise, and that's meant in the best of ways. if he plays near you, go - i left thinking i paid too little for my ticket.
