Dancing and lipsincing was great, but some of the more theatrical and comical portions would have made this more epic and on level with the television series.
I was really disappointed with the show. First off, I think not having Brooklyn there was a real let down. Having the performers MC their own show showed a lot of disrespect. Also, the production values were subpar. In 2022, a special stage was built and in 2024, all we got was a video screen. Once again, it did not serve the performers well. The lack of back-up dancers puts way too much pressure on individual performers to carry the show on such a large stage with such a large audience. Once again, a sign that demonstrates a lack of support for the artists. They did the best with what they were given, but honestly, it was not the right venue, it did not have the production values that one would expect for such a venue, and, lastly, the programming was lackluster. For all of these reasons, the show never really crescendoed.
All the girls turned it out! They were very good, fun meet and greet and queens like Icesis, Pythia, Kimora and Suki really stood out.
I went to the drag show and we did a meet and greet and had pictures taken but I’ve never received the pictures? Do the people who paid for the meet and greet get the pictures with us and the drag queens? That’s my only negative part about the show that I haven’t received my pictures yet. The show was absolutely amazing we were in the first row and so worth the money this was by far my best season I watched and I absolutely love Brooklyn.
What a great night of entertainment!! So much talent. So much fun!! And Brooke was a funny and awesome hostess!!
They put on a great show, super high energy. Venue was perfect.
All the queens delivered! I have seen other drag shows in more intimate settings so I was curious about what the experience would be in a larger venue. I was not disappointed! Loved every minute of the show!
Excellent show with a cast that shines bright on Canadian talent in this wonderfully inclusive art form. The National Arts Center did Ottawa proud. A great night
The queens were great and their energy spectacular!!!! Disappointed with the production value! The stage was very boring and they could have had more than 2 back up dancers!
The show was amazing, even with the "supposed" technical difficulties (not sure if it was real, because Brooklyn was fantastic). The show was 100% full of energy! Loved how all was organized, the bars with pre-order drinks for the intermission, the layout and so much more. It was our first time attending the show but I will definitely return again and again. Great job everyone, je vous aime tous! bisoux.
