Shad put on a great show. Good mix of new and old songs that should please everyone!
I am a really big fan of Shad... I saw him at the Union, which I think for a venue is more suitable for a rap show than the Burton Cummings though just seeing Shad perform live makes the venue irrelevant. Shad does not even need to be glorified - his music speaks for itself and his stage presence is absolutely captivating.
the shad concert was excellent. He is so talented! I would see him again for sure
shad was awesome - always is, and hypnotic brass ensemble was great, too!
Brother Ali opened for Shad and he had the crowd going and pumped up for Shad Shad showed why he's one of the best Canadian rappers with his whole set. His delivery was flawless all night and the final song was Epilogue: Long Jawn from Flying Colours. This was incredible and showed his amazing skills even after over an hour of performing. Overall an amazing concert!
Shad is superrrr talented and had an amazing stage presence. The opening act was also great!
Great show by both shad and brother ali, but standing on the slanted floor with for a few hours wasn't the most convenient.. Bathroom lines get ridiculous so try to get in and out early.. and at the end of the night coat check took forever... Leave your coat in the car if you can.
Shad was awesome coming off the heels of wining a juno. Crowd was totally into it and shad did not disappoint. Opening band - keys and crates - was awesome too. only thing i would improve is the sound. dude like Shad - you want to hear what he's saying. awesome show overall.
I do not even know where to begin. From the moment he stepped on stage to the moment he stepped off, Shad came with so much energy and excitement. He came on just after 10 and played straight through until about 1:15. I was fortunate enough to be standing directly in front of the stage however, he was so unexplainably amazing that it would not have mattered where you were standing, he managed to make everyone feel like they were beside him spitting rhymes in his living room. He had a huge smile on his face the entire show, you could tell he was enjoying himself, the (sold out) crowd was so live. Shad is a real artist who actually enjoys what he does and it shows, he just what music needs. I could go on forever, but I'll just let you see him for yourself because you should, no sorry you NEED to! I cannot wait to see him again, cheers!
