About

Tate McRae is a pop singer from Calgary, Alberta. After initially finding the spotlight at 13 as the first-ever Canadian finalist on So You Think You Can Dance, the multi-talented teen went viral on YouTube and TikTok with her independent single “One Day” and signed with RCA Records in 2019. McRae’s debut EP, All the Things I Never Said, followed in early 2020, and months later she notched her first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 with “You Broke Me First.” The teen sensation released her debut full-length, I Used to Think I Could Fly, in the spring of 2022 after a string of collaborations with Troye Sivan and Regard (“You”), Blackbear (“U Love U”), Khalid (“Working”) and more. McRae’s sophomore album, Think Later, followed in December 2023 in the wake of its lead single “Greedy” becoming her first Top 10 hit.

    amazing

    by kay on 2023-12-13

i saw tate and had m&g for Montreals show and she was the sweetest person ever she was so nice to everyone. her q&a part she felt so chill and happy to talk to all of us. soundcheck she sounded amazing. and her show i wasn't a fan of the opener but i wasn't there for him so i didn't care he was good just not my style. it was a bit of a wait for tate to come out cause they had to change the set up of the stage and clean it. but her set was amazing her vocals are good she interacted with the crowd alot and looked like she was having so much fun. Shes also an incredible dancer so that adds to the preformances. Going to see her next tour in Toronto in july! i'm so excited!! def recommend going to see her at least once!

    She’s talented but

    by Cat on 2023-12-12

I was very excited to see Tate McRae live, I got the presale code, got tickets that were obstructed view and it didn’t mention that when I bought them. I got these tickets for like $90 each, couldn’t see her half the concert. With a cherry on top of that, she wasn't even on stage for an hour, it was only 45 minutes. She has a very unique voice and is talented but it was very disappointing.

    Beyond talented

by Lau on 2023-09-21MTELUS - Montreal

Tate is an amazing performer, dancer, and singer. She puts on a great show and has good stage presence. My only complaint is that the show was only 58 minutes; 58 minutes is short compared to other artists. All in all, I had so much fun that night. The tickets were affordable; I just wish the venue was bigger. I highly recommend going to see her in concert. I hope she comes back to my city soon.

    Toronto N1

    by E.B. on 2023-09-16

The hour wait between her and her opener was rude. Especially with her set not being long. We almost left. Don’t believe she’s ready for performing yet. She was very nervous. Her voice is great tho. She definitely has the talent but she needs more practise on being an entertainer.

    Meh

    by E. B. on 2023-09-16History - Toronto

Let me start this off by saying that Tate McRae is very talented. I’ve followed her on TikTok for a long time. Her voice sounded great. I go to a lot of concerts and hers was just meh. The gap between her and her opener was SOOOO long. Like ridiculously long. Her opener was awful and then to wait 45+ minutes for her to come out. The playlist they had playing, played twice. Tate seemed VERY nervous the whole show. The show is obviously ‘scripted’ in between songs and you could tell. She would fumble words and mix stuff up. You would think she wouldn’t be this nervous after already performing a few shows. I feel bad giving such a judgemental review because she’s so young and I believe she has so much talent but I don’t think she’s ready for touring yet. I wouldn’t pay to see her again for a long time.

    BEST DAY EVER

by aves on 2023-09-15History - Toronto

I attended the Tate mcrae m&g in toronto n2. The Venue was very well organized. They held a separate line for vip and honoured the number system. Tate’s team was lovely and very supportive. Tate was the sweetest human ever and made sure everyone was having an amazing time. The venue was great with making sure everyone was hydrated and not one person fainted.

    Great show

by April on 2023-09-15History - Toronto

It was a great show the only thing I would maybe rate negatively was the live nation staff I think they had shirts on that says guest security. We had VIP 3 and they didn’t really give us instructions on how we would get in. We lined up for 3-4 hours but once we got our merch the line was no more. They stood there and didn’t tell us that all the doors will open and that the line doesn’t exist anymore. Why do they have VIP when it’s just open for all. It was their second show to organize you think they would have done a better job. Tate’s actual show was awesome
