Directions

Located in Banff. Turn left at Wolf St. and right on St. Julien Road and follow the signs to the Theatre Complex.

Because The Banff Centre is located within the Banff National Park, the Banff Park entrance fee must be paid when entering the Banff gates.


Parking

There are 3 large parking lots and a parkade located next to the Theatre Complex. Parking is free.

Public Transportation
There are shuttles from various hotels and taxi service from downtown. The Town of Banff runs a public transit system, but routes do not include The Banff Centre.

Tuesday to Saturday: 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Closed on Sundays, Mondays, and holidays.

On ticketed performance days the main box office and phone lines will remain open straight through until performance time. For ticketed performances that occur on Sundays, Mondays and holidays, the main box office and the phone lines will open at least three hours prior to the scheduled performance time.

Box Office Location:
The main Banff Centre Box Office is located in the lobby of the Banff Centre Theatre Complex. It is the main Box Office for all of The Banff Centre theatres. A venue box office will open at the Margaret Greenham Theatre 1 hour prior to ticketed performances.

Note: Please arrive at box office early if picking up tickets.

Customers must present the actual credit card used to place the order and photo ID.

Children Rules

Children under 12 months of age are not admitted.

Children 12 months of age or older require a ticket. If a concert or performance is being recorded by the CBC or other broadcaster, some events may restrict admission of children older than 12 months.

While not all performances at The Banff Centre are suitable for younger children, we encourage you to share your enjoyment of our presentations with your family. Out of respect for artists and audience alike, we ask that you consider your seat location when bringing children. If a child is brought in and becomes disruptive to the performance, management shall request that the parents remove the child. Please be advised though, there is usually a video of the performance available on the lobby monitor. In such circumstances refunds cannot be made available.

Seating Layout:
Intimate theatre space with centre, left, and right sections. Row A is the front row and it is located on the stage. There are 9 rows in the venue.
Bar service:
A cash bar is available for most performances beginning 1 hour prior to performance time and during intermission. No drinks are allowed in the theatre.
ATM:
There is no ATM machine in the Theatre Complex. An ATM machine is available on The Banff Centre campus in our main hotel (the Professional Development Centre) a 5 minute walk from the Theatre Complex.
Stay The Night:
After the performance, check into a superior guest room in our lodge-style Professional Development Centre. Ticket purchasers receive a discounted room rate for the night of the performance. For more information and bookings, please contact the Banff Centre Box Office. Room bookings can also be made directly through our reservations department, call 1.800.884.7574. Your Ticketmaster confirmation number is required when booking a room.

Play While You Stay:
As a guest of the Professional Development Centre, enjoy superb recreation facilities. The Sally Borden building includes as 25m pool, saunas, whirlpool, a full-sized well-equipped gymnasium with running track, a climbing wall, a full exercise room and an on-site qualified massage therapist. Opportunities also exist for badminton, basketball, volleyball, fitness classes, and squash. These services are also available to non-Banff Centre guests for a membership price. Where To Eat:
The Banff Centre features the Three Ravens Restaurant & Wine Bar, with wrap-around views of the Rocky Mountain peaks. The à la carte restaurant is open daily from 5pm to 10pm. Call 403.762.6300 for table reservations. The wine bar is open daily from 4pm to 12am. The Vistas Dining Room offers market-style dining for breakfast (7am-9:30am), lunch (11:30am-1:30pm) and dinner (5:30pm-7:30pm). Props Pub, open from 4:30pm to 1am daily, has a full pub-style menu. Gooseberry’s Juice Bar & Deli offers sandwiches and fresh-squeezed juices. For specialty coffees and pastries, visit The Kiln Café & General Store.
