Cirque du Soleil: OVO Tickets

The whole show was brilliant! It was a great family show. Good for all ages.

Absolutely incredible, awe-inspiring, and exciting. We laughed, gasped, held our breath, and enjoyed every minute of the show. A talented and meticulous performance by the performers and members of the Cirque du Soleil team.

I was so happy to see that Cirque is back touring! OVO was a delightful evening, full of clever Cirque touches. Many elements have appeared in other Cirque shows, Chinese poles, hand strength, contortionist, but the physical artistry never disappoints, and the clowns were laugh out loud funny!

The fact the show condones photography to tag on social media was trash - every idiot and their cousin was on their phone, trying to be their best Steven Spielberg which really distracted from watching the act. The warning about flash photos did nothing, since many people clearly had no idea how to use their phone settings. Acoustics at Rogers was kind of muted, so their usual rich sound of the accompanying music wasn’t as good. I bought floor seats and they were the collapsible metal ones, but they were conjoined so my wife got half sat on by this morbidly obese woman eating a poutine with onions for half the show til I switched to bear the brunt. Also, why do you need to eat pizza and poutine and who knows what else at a show like this? I also enjoyed the guy who spilled his beer everywhere trying to get back to his seat. Have dinner before the show and maybe pay attention to what you paid for. Having people arrive late and fumbling in while the show is underway in the first half and then more people late to their seats after intermission was also a huge distraction and aggravation as they stand in front of others filtering to their seat. That could maybe be managed better. The venue was garbage overall. The show and acts, music aside was well done. The music suffered because of the venue.

The first half was a bit slow and the second half was much better.

Excellent evening out For the whole family! Acrobatics were amazing and the show was 3 hours with an intermission. Go! You won’t regret it.

Venue was great, acts were good, not spectacular. Spotlighting was not situated correctly, kept blinding us where we were seated. Give it a 4 out of 10

Cirque shows are always a pleasure and OVO was delightful and fun for all ages. The costumes, set and music are so unique and the acrobatics are beautiful and energizing. It’s better and more intimate in a tent of course but worked just fine at Rodgers place.

I've seen a number of cirque shows...loved this one. The performers are so talented. The sets, music, costumes, combined with the athletic beauty of the performers created a magical performance. Will go to see cirque when they come to Edmonton again.

I have seen quite a few of the Cirque du Soleil shows. OVO was one of the best! Action packed and fast moving.
