I have always found orchestra performances exciting but the Calgary Philharmonic orchestra blew me off with the Black Panther in concert! Playing through the movie for over 2 hours was a notch higher than I expected. Looking forward to the next concert for sure!
Fantastic experience.. Calgary Philharmonic was outstanding as always. Great movie. Talking drum made the evening that much more special. Super musician!!! Would do it all again. Cudos to the producers.
First time we watch the CPO and we were surprised how really good it was! Even my 14yo son was really amazed! Because of that experience we have purchased again a show for next year - Harry Potter. See you soon!
I dis not know what to expect but this was amazing! You don’t realize how much music is in a movie and that its what makes you feel all the emotions! They played so incredibly seamlessly that you forgot they were there sometimes! Very talented! I felt like it was a 2for1 deal since it was like seeing. Live music and a movie! Will definitely go again!

What an incredible group of talented musicians! The music flowed smoothly along with the movie. And, the guest musician, Diop was incredible. Thank you so much for a great evening that the whole family could enjoy!
The music in this performance was amazing, although with the sound of children crying, talking and kicking chairs that took away from the talent the musicians have. Adult only performances are required and if you are a parent and your child cannot watch a film at home, DO NOT take them to see this. It ruined our performance.
Watching Home Alone with the CPO was AMAZING! I had never seen it on a big screen in theatre, so that in itself was grand. However, having the music played live, with a choir to boot, gave me shivers! Kudos to The Philharmonic for such a fun and touching performance!
The CPO played a miner role in this movie production. An entertaining evening, but I would have enjoyed watching Home Alone in a movie theater. The movie played the lead role and the CPO was very much in the background. Disappointing!
We went as a family to Home Alone in Concert and it was amazing - the orchestra so seamless with the movie! Exceeded our expectations by far.
