Great concert. Saw them twice. Was in third row front of stage. Actually saw Florence LaRue’s tears when she sang One Less Bell To Answer. It was like it was the last time she was going to sing that song.
I thoroughly enjoyed the entire show, lots of good variety in music choices, great presentation, fantastic talent, an excellent afternoon. My only complaint is that the tickets were sold with the requirement of masks and while all the staff was wearing them, there were no checks or enforcements of masks at the concert and only about 50% were wearing them. Shame on you Avalon Fallsview for not enforcing what you advertised. Very unfair to those of us who were wearing them and following the rules.
Very entertaining afternoon at the Avalon Theatre. The music is timeless and Florence LaRue at 80 is incredible.
I am a millennial, so I am not their typical fan but "Age of Aquarius" is one of my favourite songs- and has been for many years. I also like some more of their songs like "Soul Stoned Picnic." I'm very glad I went to the concert. I was blown away by their talent and feeling that they put into the music. It was great to see a legend- Flo as well as the new members who can all hold their own. Very powerful vocals. I got to shake Flo's hand!

The 5th Dimension were decent, but lead singer Florence LaRue was spectacular - as she has mostly been throughout her 45+ year career. She looked fabulous, was extremely energetic and paced the show like a true professional. The one star deduction is for a lack of 5th Dimension songs (they did 8 - could have done 20), particularly If I Could Reach You, Workin" On A Groovy Thing, and Flo's 1970 LP masterpiece This Is Your LIfe.
I am an enthusiastic fan of the Fifth Dimension. The music was great, however I was hugely disappointed to not hear more of their hits, especially Puppet Man. There was considerable time spent bringing audience members on stage to dance and sing. Doing it once is OK, but three prolonged times???? We could have heard 5-6 other hits. Instead, we had to endure audience members singing or dancing, which is NOT why I paid the admission. The audience thing was wayyyyy overdone.
It was one of the best concerts I have attended, unforgettable. Each member of the group had a unique, wonderful voice.
Great show. Loved hearing all the oldies. The group has still 'got it' and their performance was lively and entertaining. Was up on my feet and moving to the groove all through the show.
