About

American rapper A$AP FERG has announced a series of headline shows, playing Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide this September in addition to his appearances at Listen Out festival.

A$AP Ferg emerged in 2012 as one of the leading members of the renowned, Harlem-based A$AP Mob. Immediately captivating critics and rap fans the world over, Ferg instantly fortified his reputation by appearing on A$AP Rocky's major label debut, Long.Live.A$AP and wowing sold-out audiences while on tour with Rihanna and Drake.

In 2013, A$AP Ferg released his debut album, Trap Lord, which entered at #9 on Billboard’s Top 200 album chart and earned Ferg the ‘Rookie of the Year’ BET Hip Hop Award. Trap Lord included the breakout hits ‘Work (Remix)’ featuring A$AP Rocky, French Montana, Trinidad James & ScHoolBoy Q; and ‘Shabba’ also featuring A$AP Rocky.

Amidst a packed touring schedule and collaborations with major fashion labels, A$AP Ferg worked tirelessly on his highly anticipated sophomore album, Always Strive and Prosper (out now through Sony Music Entertainment Australia). Linking up with everyone from Missy Elliot to Skrillex, Ferg delves deep into his personal history to paint a vivid and uncompromising self-portrait, offering introspection and entertainment in equal measure.

“This album is by far the best work I've created and showcases my versatility and taste in the music that I love,” states Ferg. “The mission for this album is for my fans to get a deeper look into my life; to know my origin, my family and the obstacles I've faced while growing up.  More importantly, I want to encourage people to always strive and prosper because if an inner city kid from Harlem, NY can make it then they can as well.”

    I'm on a New Level

by KingYashu on 2018-05-09REBEL - Toronto

Note: When I was at the event, I had meet and greet tickets and expected the meet and greet to happen before the show, but the venue and Ferg's management planned it for after the show. If you're at REBEL, chances are the meet and greet for certain shows will be at the end depending on the artist The show started at 8:30; IDK and Denzel were not expected to be there due to tour rescheduling and other plans, which was understandable and important for fans to analyze. The opener, Manu Crook$, came to the crowd and had it turnt up during his set. He played some tracks from his new EP and certain singles, and he managed to sway the crowd through his nonchalant attitude, his crowd participation skills, and his flow from song to song. When FERG came, he had everyone on a new level from performing various tracks from his new tape and cuts from his last tapes. Not only did he managed to please the crowd, but he made sure his day ones were satisfied and enjoyed by playing some classic cuts. Overall, it was a good show! When I went to the meet and greet at the end, I met up with him and had a good vibe with him, as well as taking a photo with him, in which I enjoyed.

    Ferg is amazing

by Tamanna on 2018-05-09REBEL - Toronto

Okay so Ferg is an amazing performer and had us all hype. But he took forever to show up. It was my first concert so I'm not sure if all artists take forever but I kinda got bored before he showed. When he came though it was AMAZING. He was so cute, even after the song was done he'd hum or sing to himself. Mosh pits were hell if you're a female who is under 5'6 (me) but it was definitely a fun night!

    A$AP Ferg - Review

    by AJS32 on 2018-05-09REBEL - Toronto

The headliner was not on stage for very long in my opinion. I expect an artist to perform for a minimum of an hour to an hour an a half and he left after 45-50 minutes. Also, a number of songs at the beginning of his set were only played for a minute or two, which was disappointing and ruined the flow of the show for me.

I went to the last ferg show and it was really hype.. But the last ferg show had A$AP Rocky too. This show was good too, but I wish he did more of his old stuff. Trap Lord tracks.

    Could have been better

by Nejla on 2015-01-17Sound Academy - Toronto

Well I bought two vip tickets for one of the perks being early entry to the point of no early entry even being done , we waited almost an hour outside after being told specifically no later than 7 and when we were finally let it we were just waiting again a room they could have allowed us in earlier rather than outside. Meet and greet was okay considering the embarrassing amount of care put forward. The concert was well done though.

    Asap n yg killed it

    by Spike1083747 on 2015-01-17Sound Academy - Toronto

Amazing time in sound academy for my first time being there. Venue was set up great and bar wasnt that busy made it easy to get drinks cause the bars were long. Thought crowds would be a little crazier as they are alwasy crazier over the boarder in the u.s. But had a great spot infront of the stage. Coat check was perfect. Didnt have any issues with any except that the doors and artists were not organize with the times. Made me miss the train back home but was lucky to hit the bus back. Overall experience would def come back to another show here.
