Shiw was good , however it had potentail for much.

by showfan1 on 2017-01-02River Cree Resort & Casino - Enoch

I am a fan of movies concerts etc. posted start times should be adhered to. The show was supposed to start at 9 PM, it started at 9:09 PM. The show lasted until 10:39 PM exactly 90 minutes. During the show I would say about 30% of the songs were filler songs, not widely known songs. With all the hits that ABBA had throughout their career, a 90 minute show should have been easy to fill with hit songs. That would a left the audience amazed. Instead we are left with an average concert. There was one main camera guy at the back that had a clear view of the stage, he was elevated above everyone's head and did not bother anyone for a clear view of the stage to project onto the television screens. There was also two guys with cameras right in front to the stage one on each side of the stage, these two guys with the cameras blocks the view of dozens of people, as they are standing up the entire concert, while us who paid for some the best seats in the house have someone standing right in front of them blocking our view. Those two cameramen should have been on the sides of the seating area, elevated as well and they could be used a zoom lens above everyone's head to get the same effect without blocking anyone's view. Also sitting in the front row all of the speakers are above one's head, thus the sound is muffled for the first 4 or 5 rows, as there are no speakers aimed at us to project the voice of the people singing. You should have a clear sound of the voice no matter what role you sit in. The lighting and visual aspects of the concert were very good and I had no issues with them. Overall a good show however not a great show.

    Abba mania was too short

by doobie on 2017-01-02River Cree Resort & Casino - Enoch

I love the music by Abba. This group did it a great job of singing the songs. The show started about 15-20 mins late and only lasted 75 mins. I was disappointed with the length. The group encouraged the audience to stand up & participate by singing & dancing. I don't like the venue at the River Cree. I think the seats should be tiered so everyone can have a view of the stage. I don't think I would rush back to see a show there again which is too bad because they do have some great shows. On a postive note the staff that works there were very friendly & helpful.

The show was absolutely GREAT!! Saw them last year and didn't want to miss it. Anyone who goes and enjoys BeeGee's or Abba music will thoroughly enjoy!!

Abbamania and Night Fever are worth taking in!

by Mozambique on 2012-03-24McPhillips Station Casino - Winnipeg

These two groups put on a fabulous show. I dug the Bee Gees totally and never stopped dancing for Abbamania (OK except for the slow songs!).

    Sound man steals show

by radd on 2010-09-19Club Regent Casino - Winnipeg

Everything about the Night Moves - ABBA show was as expected. The singers had good voices, the musicians were excellent, the arrangements were true to the original material. All was there for a great show. And the sound engineer ruined it all. There was so much bass thumping behind and over every song that hardly a word was audible. The overall sense of the evening when it was over was a ringing in my ears and a fervent wish that I could have strangled the guy in the sound booth. I guess after listening to a life time of music these guys are all deaf. Oh well, the show was OK anyway, but it could have beeen great. Too bad.

This show was very good, I highly recommend it to my friends. Great night out, reasonably priced. They are all great performers...

Although the performers were good, each 1/2 of the evening was too short. 45 - 50 minutes of work per night for each group leaves me feeling short changed. The past few times I've been to performances at the casinos, I've been disappointed overall, so I doubt I will go to any in the future.

    You wont be disappointed

by Dreamer11 on 2010-05-14CK Theatre - Chatham Ontario

I first saw this group in Chatham, Ontario. I didn't know what to expect, but I certainly was very impressed. I was fortunate and had front row seats. This was a birthday present for me and one I wont ever forget. I felt they captured the group wonderfully. The songs were great and I felt Abba was really there. Bee Gees was a bonus. They were good, but they resemble Abba more than the Bee Gees. I briefly saw them appear at the CNE awhile back but couldn't stop. I keep looking for them to be playing around here again.

    ABBA MANIA was fantastic

by jamk on 2010-03-31Red Robinson Show Theatre - Coquitlam

Abba was fantastic and the Bee Gees were great. The who show from start to finish was an experience that I and my husband will talk about to other people who are wanting to see Abba and the Bee Gees. The only thing I wish was that the Bee Gees sang more songs than they did. Other than that it was a great night out.

    Poor for the dollars spent

by Nana on 2010-03-29Red Robinson Show Theatre - Coquitlam

ABBA, although the music was pretty good, the girls were out of sinc most of the times. The fella that played Bjorn was lame and full of himself. Bee Gees, drop the night fever and play the entire scope of the years of the Brothers, you will draw an better audience.
