You need to hear this man perform

The only criticism I have is at times there were dead pauses in the show...but I think the venue subtracted from the experience and the overall interaction Amos Lee and the band could have with the audience. That being said, I would go and see him play whether he was on a street corner or in a stadium. Musically...Amos Lee (the players and backing vox that travel with him too) ...was/were amazing! Such a gifted voice, interesting re-arrangements of older songs, and big & fresh sound. I also appreciated the diversity of the crowd that he attracts - from 18 year-old hipsters to my mom and dad. Pretty amazing. (The crowd, unfortunately, was typical Toronto for the most part, glued to their seats. The one exception was the fabulous man who danced in the aisles during the encore. This has little to do with Amos Lee though.)
