CBC Music Festival Tickets

It would have been nice to know BEFORE hand that this event allows re-entry so that I could've planned my day accordingly, rather than missing an early act just in case I couldn't get back in for the headliner.

This is my second year and loved every moment. I attend with my son and daughter-in-law. The lineup was great. The weather was great. The venues all great. The treasure hunt was a lot of fun to get CBC swag. All in all a great day.

I was not very impressed. But if something similar is organized next year, I'll be among the first people to buy my tickets. I love big events like this. Next time try to make the parking cheaper. It was way to high.

If you are a fan of Canadian music and CBC Radio Two fan, this is the festival for you. It was as if every artist played regularly on Radio Two (and rarely on bland commercial radio) showed up to celebrate Canadian music with the crowd. The attendees were a very classy crowd of all ages (who says only old people listen to CBC?), respectful of each other and totally into the music. It was a shared experience of like-minded people. Sound and locale were excellent. Walk off the Earth were a revelation, delivering a mesmerizing set. As Giovanni the guitarist said: "This is the only country in the world where we throw free stuff into the audience and people don't fight over it. This guy here even offered to give his to the guy sitting beside him!" There were long lineups for the mediocre food at the food trucks and the beer was ridiculously overpriced (starting at $13 a can), but hey it's a music festival. Best to bring your own healthy food and wait till you get home to have a cold beer. A great day -- highly recommended.

Really enjoyed this concert festival, especially because it supported Canadian artists and that also made it affordable. Love that children under 12 were free and there were many fun things to do with the kids. It was so great to be able to share this experience with my kids (2, 4, and 6) - they enjoyed the music and could also entertain themselves in the sand at Echo Beach. Very cool venue. Only complaint is that a few more food trucks are required as wait time for food during dinner was 45 minutes....

The festival was super! I love outdoor wanderings between stages introducing myself to new sounds, new beats and new musicians. The crowd is relaxed and very family oriented which keeps the whole place chill even with alcohol on the premises. If you get a chance to go next time, do it! Spend a day in the outdoors and enjoy the tunes!

The lineup was exceptional. Well organized and all staff super friendly and went out of their way to engage people.

Amazing line up. Great activities and shows for the kids. Only downside was the space allotted for the kids stage and activities. This needs to be much bigger and not setup in a thoroughfare next time.
